My grandmother was lugging coal bags up and down the hills In Vermont in the U.S.A when she was only 8 years old. My mother did also.. My grandmother had other chores like milking the cows and getting the eggs the hens laid etc. Of course her brothers and sisters took turns with the daily chores but when they became adults they chose the city life in the states... It's good to know that elderly people are shown respect and get the help they need because not all do.😪😪😪😪😪😪. Health and prosperity to you. Love and respect from the U.S.A. 😄🧙💜🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

My mom and hers were great cooks, whatever they had to use, the meal was made around it. If the stove was out, wood stove was used, too hot for wood, grill or campfire used. I'm a fair cook, but they were very talented, and could do a huge meal, and have it ready at the right time. My other grandma, dads side was known for her Parker house rolls ,she won awards for them, and rarely any function in their town weren't supplied with her rolls. Many fond memories. Wish we could visit.
