wondering if i can use clear gesso as a temporary stencil. i use temporay stencils if i airbrush over it will it stop paint bleed on canvas??? please advise

How about for a rhinestone template? Does it have a sticky backing? How thick is it?
I don't think this would be truly thick enough for rhinestones.
I'm having a terrible time weeding Ormask 813, everything pulls up, including the parts I want to leave behind. What settings did you use with the Cameo to cut this?

Love the placement trick! Thank you for sharing. My daughter is getting married on a budget. She wants a stained wood sign at her outdoor wedding and I’m curious if you have any tips and tricks for that. Would you use a stencil and paint the phrase or would you consider using 651 permanent vinyl lettering on stained wood? Also, for the staining the wood, would you recommend oil based or water-based stain (and do you have a brand preference)? Thank you again for your tips and tricks!
I can't get the oramask to stick to the sign. Keeps coming up.

What settings do you use for this
Hi! I used the Stencil Material cut setting for the Oramask 831 and everything cut good EXCEPT one of the words... for some reason my mat starts to move every time it gets to that certain word. My rollers are were they should be... what could it be? Speed? Force? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. :)

Default cut settings, just with a force of 14 rather than 4.

I bought a roll of stencil vinyl, and the Cameo doesn't cut it. What setting should I be choosing?
What happens if I want to make a multiplayer stencil? For example if my design has more than one color, how can I place the stencil vinyl precisely one on the top of the other (of course waiting for the paint to dry under neath) without sacrificing precision and peeling the paint underneath? Thanks!!!!

Hi, just watched your video...really great. I am sooo new at this and need to know what you use to cut your stencils? A cricket? I would like to start creating some signs but the cricket is so expensive Is there another machine that just cuts stencils? Thank you!
Can you use a sheet of Mylar to cut a stencil?

What setting did you use for the stencil vinyl on the cutter?

She did what she came to do-explain how to use a vinyl stencil. We all leave educated. Isn't that what we came for?

Transfer tape seems like an unnecessary step for a stencil... right? Or am I wrong?
I thought so too until I cut a piece of vinyl. The material is very flimsy and stretchy, so the transfer tape helps hold everything in place, which is especially important for "floating" details like the arrow's feather details
Good idea to put a box around, and to transfer the bits over. It's great that you can have actual hoes in your masks without having to have everything joined together.
I'm wondering if there is any way to use the positive and negative parts of the stencil? Using transfer tape to weed out the design? Hmmm.... you have my mind going, thanks! :)
Are these reusable?

I like the sound of her voice! It's very FUN sounding and reeks with confidence. But I get it. Not everyone likes the sound of "every" voice. The best thing to do if that is the case, is don't listen to her. Turn down the volume, watch a different video, and/or view the school blog. I don't know if could have become as good as I've become, from listening to her voice and reading her blog. Thank you for all you do for us! I've become a vinyl-holic, and my wife the pillow maker appreciates it. (Jim)
