I can't find solid figures in the UK, but I'm in Australia and just the police call going to call out costs $200, the attendance costs $800 if it's under 15 minutes (driving there is usually 20-30 so double that). So every time you see an auditor get the cops called on them that's about $1200-1800 of tax payers money wasted. Five auditor videos and you've got the price of a good car. NO CORPORATE POLICY should ever be to call the police unless they are reporting an indictable offence. (Edit: TWO cars attended, so double that, $3000-4000.)

255 British servicemen lost their lives to ensure that the Union Jack flag could fly again over Port Stanley. It is a disgrace to deface that flag for whatever reason and also to wear the defaced version with pride. Grow up sunshine the charity union flag patch has a blue line to denote it's a police charity. It has been authorised by the Home Office as have the red, green, orange and yellow lone patches used by the other emergency services. always amazes me how quickly people are to bring their companies into disrepute, no idea how to promote their business, Bet the marketing department are over the moon with this, The less said about the police the better. Can't respond to real crimes but happy to attend stuff like this immediately.
I don't think this police officer did anything wrong really. He forgot to mention his camera but it's not exactly a huge big deal. And the way you spoke to him was kinda rude tbh. I don't like that. He didn't get provoked and stayed cool so thumbs up to him.

So much wasted $$$. I can't find solid figures in the UK, but I'm in Australia and just the police call going to call out costs $200, the attendance costs $800 if it's under 15 minutes (driving there is usually 20-30 so double that). So every time you see an auditor get the cops called on them that's about $1200-1800 of tax payers money wasted. Five auditor videos and you've got the price of a good car. NO CORPORATE POLICY should ever be to call the police unless they are reporting an indictable offence. (Edit: TWO cars attended, so double that, $3000-4000.)

I agree totally with your belief regarding the thin blue line badge. It is a bastardisation of our country's national flag. As the public fund the police, even to the point of uniform supply, we the public should have our opinions listened to and acted upon. Good post, thank you 👍
