Often times they are spontaneous events that participants don't have a ton of prep time for (hence spontaneous). These weren't "sets". I think she legit won on material. Being someone who has become disabled nine years ago and dealing with limitations that I couldn't have imagined even though it isn't caused by palsy i can appreciate their humor.
Josh is pretty perfect, my son had CP but was no verbal we had our own communication he passed at 19 amdngot his wings, 5 very short very long years ago he was perfect & pure. Josh is who I wish my angel grew up to be. Thank you Josh for showing the world who the "normal" ones are.. much respect

This girl had some serious competition when she decided to get in the ring with him...and she may have lost the war (in my very humble and "able bodied" opinion 😎) but she made some amazing and hilariously genius and sadly unappreciated jokes. They are both awesome and the world needs to hear more from both of them!!

Its just so awkward watching a comic read their act. I'm not saying its easy or anything just making an observation but if you're going to do comedy you have to memorize it. Reading it takes away from the act & you can hear it in peoples voice when they're reading something.

They probably didnt have much time to come up with the act and i for one am glad that she had the courage to bring the jokes with her instead of trying to remember it all and probably not shareing many of the jokes with us. To double clarify, most comedians practice their acts 100's of times. By the time you see it, they have performed it infront of crowds many times. These jokes were performed once, infront of one crowd. Lots of josh's stuff was from his acts as well. Were as her jokes were all written specifically for this show. Omg..”red rover”..I’m physically challenged and the first and last time I played “red Rover”..probably about 8yrs old, ended up in the hospital for a week as they tried to figure out WTF I did to myself. I’ve often thought I should have tried comedy instead of medicine. Turns out when you pick a career that you can’t do anymore once you reach a certain age...you’re screwed. Also, nothing like having a really rare genetic disorder..and you end up being “classified” as a spontaneous mutation of a mutation. My Son and I could probably do a routine together between all of our weird experiences...and no, I had been told I couldn’t pass it on since I’m a “spontaneous” mutant. But he being male and me female, there HAVE been quite a few interesting differences..the only thing we had in common for awhile was an old country doctor in Alabama putting “ET?” In giant red letters on our medical charts. My current physician actually ordered that chart when I moved North-he LOVES showing it to a nearby medical school I sometimes speak at. I’m not sure what’s worse though, when he shows the chart-or x-rays of my knees and elbows and asks the students to identify the species and joint. The poor kids are thoroughly confused when I get up, they see my fairly normal looking arms and legs, and I’m walking & moving “normally”. The funniest part of those sessions though are the students making suggestions on how I could get realistic looking fingernails. After over 60 years without nails, literally weeks from being in a wheelchair on dialysis..I don’t know, but intensive plastic surgery just to wear nail polish? I’ll pass. If anyone has a deformed spare kidney with blood vessels in all the wrong places though...let me know!
