As a kid I thought goku was better than yusuke. But as an adult I can honestly say yusuke is more of a man than goku because he gave up fighting to be with the girl he loves.
Goku is an SAIYAJIN! The saiyajins are warriors. They're cosmic pirates. They were born to fight, no matter what. So they will die by fighting. Yusuke is just an unlucky kid that was forced to face unatural forces because of his empathy for a random kid. So he stopped fighting something because he got his ass beaten by an ancient powerful demon. Difference? Yes, difference.
Than what you don’t understand is life my friend . A man’s life is not defined by his woman and a woman doesn’t want you to give up what motivates you to be the man she feel in love with in the first place. Goku didn’t “leave” chichi the original creator of dragon ball z stopped working on it after the buu saga which goku was telling everyone he’s leaving to go training with ubuu to get even stronger. He wasn’t saying goodbye like it was forever like in GT, which was not the original db creators work. Either way, you don’t live your life for a woman, because that’s not the role she plays, you live for your purpose your dreams and a woman sees that and wants to be apart of it with you and you show her your world and she loves you for it and opens her heart to you. That’s real love that will last forever.
I come back here every once in awhile. Just to listen to this masterpiece. I can’t explain my feelings atm. This song just makes all my worries and pain go away. This soundtrack has been perfectly laced with so many memories. I think in anime and the art style in my mind is that of Yu Yu Hakusho. My personal favorite.
Things were so simple then, we had such an imagination thanks to great shows like these. Glued to our T.Vs trying to spirit gun, kameha or just fly in our heads. We would base our childhood adventures on these fantastical heroes. My childhood was spent climbing trees and chasing my friends, watching anime in any of our houses, eating at their house. Essentially made every house hold in my neighbourhood a family... such times :,) ty yu yu hakusho....you shaped my childhood perfectly with this song.
This is on my top 3 of favorite anime's ever, this right here gave me such a nostalgic, aesthetic feeling that basically no other anime can give u, it had that old school feel to it where once you watch it you're hooked and it was so aesthetic I don't think no other anime can compete to the aesthetic feel in this anime, it always makes me wonder about life now, I'm glad nobody messed with this anime it's good JUST the way it is

I finally finished the series. This scene(image) brings great sadness and happiness. Sadness in the sense of the end of a journey. Journey with Urameshi and the gang. Happiness in the sense of being able to enjoy such a journey. I know you wont see this Togashi but thank you for creating this series.

I once ran a D&D game set in space similar to Star Wars. At one point the players ship ran out of fuel and they were stranded drifting in the galaxy waiting for someone or something to hopefully find them. This was the song I used to get the mood and feel right of being alone drifting amongst the stars.
Idk what it is but after watching Yu Yu hakusho I feel like I can do anything. I feel like my mistakes aren’t as big as it once was. I feel like I can control my life and see a future where I can become someone great. This feeling is what makes me relate to yusuke. I have a keiko who’s waiting to see the greatness in me and I feel like I messed up all these years. Now I feel like I have a chance to show her that I can protect her and that I can make her life easier. I just gotta keep moving forward.
I'll tell you one thing. If this show got anything right (and it got a lot right), it was the music. They really knew how to make you feel some kind of emotion with the right song.

... This song sums half of my 2020 (thanks, pandemic): me all lonely in a dorm with every roommate I knew from college literally gone home and my family across the planet. Whenever I strolled across the streets to keep myself from going insane in my small dorm, the streets were also desolate and very quiet. Sometimes the sun was set giving the sky a similar color as the video here whenever I walked, and it was beautiful. It gave me some thread of hope that this loneliness would eventually go away soon. This anime, alongside sunsetting skies like these IRL, helped me cope with almost 6 months of sheer loneliness until I was finally able to fly back with my family across the world.
The sweetest most nostalgic of osts the fact it was played throughout and for it to be played when he comes back after stopping fighting was beautiful a goated show thru and thru
This is my favorite anime of all time, I only watched back in 2017 and when I was in 6th grade. Since my father showed me this anime ive been in love with it ever since I always watch the anime every year now since then. It has also helped me through my worst deppression so far in my life. The great fight scenes like the fight with Toguro are what make Yu Yu Hakusho amazing. Themes like this and the scenes that accompany them are what make Yu Yu Hakusho a timeless classic
It kills me how YYH has been overshadowed by an inferior entity. Even the music is HELLA better and still a lot of it remains unreleased (last I checked)...still waiting for a few YYH score tracks to become available (y'know...like the good anime should and tend to get...)

When I watched the last episode I just started to binge another anime like I always do I found this song and listened to it about 5 time the first 3 I was fine but on the 4 time I realized that this anime really touched me and I enjoyed watching it tears started to well up in my eyes. Everytime I hear this theme, I start to tear up thinking of the moments in my life whereby things were hard, it always sends chills down my spine. Thank you Togashi for creating this masterpiece of an anime. You in my hall of fame heroes wall alongside Akira Toriyama etc.

... This song sums half of my 2020 (thanks, pandemic): me all lonely in a dorm with every roommate I knew from college literally gone home and my family across the planet. Whenever I strolled across the streets to keep myself from going insane in my small dorm, the streets were also desolate and very quiet. Sometimes the sun was set giving the sky a similar color as the video here whenever I walked, and it was beautiful. It gave me some thread of hope that this loneliness would eventually go away soon. This anime, alongside sunsetting skies like these IRL, helped me cope with almost 6 months of sheer loneliness until I was finally able to fly back with my family across the world.

This is my favorite anime of all time, I only watched back in 2017 and when I was in 6th grade. Since my father showed me this anime ive been in love with it ever since I always watch the anime every year now since then. It has also helped me through my worst deppression so far in my life. When I listen to these I think of the beautiful spring, the blooming trees and just the perfect scenery. thanks YYH.

The great fight scenes like the fight with Toguro are what make Yu Yu Hakusho amazing. Themes like this and the scenes that accompany them are what make Yu Yu Hakusho a timeless classic
It kills me how YYH has been overshadowed by an inferior entity. Even the music is HELLA better and still a lot of it remains unreleased (last I checked)...still waiting for a few YYH score tracks to become available (y'know...like the good anime should and tend to get...)

Even though I binge watch this show on TH-cam a lot, songs like this do get to me sometimes. It's like nostalgia, back when my childhood was quite the blast and barely knew about the internet 🤣
I'll never forget this. It's the first anime i ever watched and finished. Happy but it's kinda painful to hear this as i recall those childhood days
