Maria, I am a Nueromusclar Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and an anatomy/physiology/pathology instructor at a Massage School. If I had to guess, I would say that you're either enrolled in a massage therapy education program or have graduated from said program. Your anatomical knowledge, massage "lingo", and techniques indicate professional training. I have often thought to myself while watching your videos over the last couple of years that you would make a wonderful MT so, I hope that my suspicions are correct :) Thank you for another amazing video and I look forward to seeing your next ASMR creation!!!

Day before 2024! New year, still here! I'll be celebrating my 8th year of yt premium.... So I could listen to Маша's channel undisturbed. She is why I could fall asleep after my mom passed away. I'd just learned about asmr and the intoxicating sounds video turned me into an asmr snob and fan!

I'm impressed this video is from 10 years ago, at a time ASMR wasn't even recognized on the internet, and yet, this video is a lot better than 99% of ASMR content overall, even today.
I just had carpal tunnel surgery 1 month ago but today my forearm was aching after typing on the computer and I was so afraid the surgery didn't solve the problem. After watching this video it made me feel much better that you said the forearm could get tight and cause carpal tunnel syndrome like symptoms. I massaged my arm like you said and it felt much better. THANK YOU. I needed this video today!

Yeah quiet talking has always been much better than Whispering for me. I've always enjoyed this channel because Maria puts out a lot of regular quiet talking videos. It seems more unintentional. Which I like.

what i adore most about this video is how... _real_ it feels. in a lot of asmr, the person speaks and moves so slowly, even in roleplays. i like when they go at a normal pace because i get the most asmr from things in real life, like someone running their fingers through my hair or massages my hands, and this feels so much like that because it isn't incredibly slowed down

So relaxing Maria! I love these type of videos much better than role plays. I love this. Please do more as well as fixing someone's hair (real, not role play) and other instructional videos. You are a life saver. I have a severely disabled husband who I take care of along with working. Was stressed out and having trouble sleeping. Now I watch an hour of your asmr each night and I sleep like a baby. You have been a blessing!

Oh, Maria, I just finished typing a project for my Finals, and I could really, really use that massage on my hands right now. After typing for about 6-8 hours, all my tendons feel tense. I would die to just sit there and relax while someone is massaging my arms and palms. Thank you for the video!

Shannon Crawford Hi Shannon :) in massage school we were taught that deep (light massage is not) massaging pregnant woman's feet and ankles (using knuckles, wooden tools slowly but deeply on the bottom of the feet) could trigger a labor response, also a spot between your thumb and index finger, right in the web between them, could have a similar response, but of course you always have to make sure it is safe for you personally by checking with your doctor :)

I had to comment on this.. I have not done any ASMR videos in probably almost a year. I have always had "the feeling" as my parents(who are also lucky enough to understand the gift of ASMR) called it. I was doing several things on my phone before work and this video in my top feed ( as I have been a fan for some time).
Anywho, point is, I thought I'd revisit you because I missed your voice, and I turned to jello within seconds!! Not minutes, seconds! Sent me off into a lovely refreshing nap. 😊 you are THE BEST. Forever. Hands down. lol I am now watching again to fall asleep THANK YOU 🙏

I've been watching this video a lot lately. I've recently been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and have an intense amount of pain in my hands and arms. This has helped me relax many nights in the last few months.
