A little bit about me:
Hi! My name is Fern and I used to run a holistic business called Tranquility in a wonderful and calming space at the back of my house. Due to financial constraints, I gave up the profession but have always missed that connection and calmness I felt when helping others.
I’ve recently discovered ASMR via my daughter Melissa, who has convinced me to start this channel! Please join me on my journey of rediscovering these treatments and trying to help others relax - via the screen this time around!
I am currently making these videos as a way of remembering these treatments I used to offer. Sadly, I am not running my treatment room at the moment. ❤️

I love where they admit it has no proof of working. I mean legit, at least they arent pretending they know it works.
There is plenty of anecdotal evidence to support the use of this treatment, it is just that the scientific, empirical evidence is still weak. It would be great to have some detailed research completed, but limited available funding makes this challenging.

In science, definitions of anecdotal evidence include: "casual observations or indications rather than rigorous or scientific analysis" "information passed along by word-of-mouth but not documented scientifically" "evidence that comes from an individual experience.
Totally agree. It would be so good though if we had some empirical studies to fall back on as evidence, but I suppose that would mean getting funding! 😊
