Okay, a can of Pringles costs around $5.00, and toothpaste costs about $2.00. That spray paint probably costs $10.00, and that scalpel probably costs $15.00. That adds up to $32.00. I found one online that costs $9.97. Don't do this, it'll scam you out of your money. Just go to Target, Walmart, or Lowe's and you'll find a /way/ cheaper one.

no, the can and the tooth paste are left overs....so at this point they're free. Scalpe and paint are like a 1 cent a piece when you consider how man times they can be used....but keep thinking the way you do.....lol.

I used to love vids like this, but after a while my brain starts conflicting with what I'm seeing. Math, geometry and physics all kick in and I started to feel i was being 'played'.
This video is a perfect example, as I watched it through I wondered how the weight of the water would be counterbalanced. The awkwardly edited trial run at the end of the video answered my questions perfectly.
As for the motive of this seemingly pointless and definitely misleading video, all I can say is that certain potato chip manufacturers would be clicking the 'thumbs up' on this video 😠😔💜

Well I you were to swim in that tiny space of no water you will die because there is no air but when slightly unscrew the toothpaste cap air will come in and soon there won’t be enough room for the air to fit so then it starts pushing out the water but the water might just might fall out of the second hole if it’s too big. And yes you might be wondering why can’t the are come through the hole with no straw. Because water is already blocking the air from coming in. It’s a hard project and you might screw up a few times but maybe it’ll work

It's very beautiful 😍❤️ and I love it. But I don't understand, how the water falling down
The water is being held up in the jar via a low air pressure system. When the jar is inverted a small amount of water will come out. As this happens, the air on top becomes lower in pressure than the air around everything else. So the water is being held up by the low air pressure. Plus the water has very good capillary attraction and surface tension. This way it can span the open hole with just a little help form the low air pressure above.
When she turns the tooth paste cap air runs up the straw and into the jar. This changes the pressure in the jar and lets the water fall from the unused hole in the jar cap, into the glass. It cool and simple science.

Can someone explain how they did this why would you put a straw there and turn it around what does that do with anything? How does the water not come out there is another hole why wont it come out there?? I know im dumb but please explain idk how they did this,really im confused like how!!? I'm confused on how the drink doesn't spill/leak out the second hole that's been nailed into the lid and how the straw is dispensing the liquid even though it's so long couldnt I do this with just simply one hole in the lid and a shortened straw? And as cute as this is, it's super confusing because why put the straw and the toothpaste cap just a spin and release the liquid into the cup.... is it because of the pressure that's being released when the toothpaste cap turns the straw?

Lauren Loosemore because the straw has air in it and if the air in the straw become lose the water come out of the other hole and if the air in the straw is tight then the pressure keeps it in

I tried making it after I watched iddun's video and it worked...Iddungoddes can explain much better,for example, this copycat said just to cut 2 "holes " while iddun said that the holes diameter is 5 mm each.
Or ya know just use a friggen cup. Or drink from the jar that looks like it only holds 1 glass of water anyway.

Going through the comments and seeing how most of them are just comments about how she copied someone else. Who cares who copied who? This thing is a top heavy, inefficient, expensive waste of time that is a serious danger to any desktop electronics. Just save time and money and go buy a water bottle.
