Love this channel. New rule: every time Moore says “shake and bake” you need to take a shot. Every time he says “this is it”…double shot. Love the Mafia.
8.07 sec quarter mile pass @ around 186 mph on a STOCK WHEELBASE Hyperbusa is just INSANE. Beast of a bike and Beastly Rider. Awesome , Big Thumbs up for Moore mafia and also for HTP racing 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Ok remove the forced induction U won't crack 8s ,U running forced induction vs all motor no competition plus wheelie control all the new gizmos ,more seat Time get that 60 better easily be in 7s which is crazy fast for stock wheelbase regardless of power,I just don't think U can compare all motor record vs forced induction
I’m trying to go low 8’$ Or possibly 7’$ on my swb gen 1 turbo Busa I was starting to think I was insane. Seeing you achieve the 8.07 is all I needed to keep chasing my goal! Thanks c money!
Chris........you are the man like no other on 2 wheels. Talking to us on the mic milliseconds before dumping the clutch, and making comments halfway down the strip........there ain't no better rider on the damn planet. Dont ever stop these videos...
Chris, I loved the video!! I’m new to the channel, found you on my recommendations from the Hyperbusa Hits the Street video. I know nothing about drag racing sport bikes, but your enthusiasm for the sport and your passion have really inspired me! Keep up the great videos, I’ll be here with you for the long haul! 🤘🏼
@@TeamMooreMafia Hello chris will a kit similar to the clutch kit on this turbo busa help me launch on the street and no prep at all? You said you just dump the clutch and it does the work Because I either spin and go sideways or i bump a wheelie. The street is 0 prep, on track i do much better but I want to be consistent on any redlight when racing supercars... they have launch control and 2 step so they dont break a sweat. Gsxr1000 lowered tune exhaust, no straps and no extended arms cause my daily If the clutch upgrade will allow me to just dump it as you said it would make it more consistent. Share your 2 cents please. Thanks
Crazy piece of art . Really seen the effort you guys putting on it .Cant wait to see more of these breath taking jaw dropping entertaining videos of this street legal Frankenstein. HTP did a marvel , The simplicity the design the placement is all near to perfect. And last but not least the rider is best in his field. All the best.
Could never get bored watching you bro! Love the channel! E erything from The bikes to the dyno tuning, tech info, race spectating in mexico, your $$$ races in Mexico! Etc..... means alot to some of us that don't know you personally but wanna be there to watch you! Do what you do bro the channel is perfection! Htp as well! Dude is a genius and with your genius/madness yall got something mental thats gonna be happening ! Keep up the great work !
That was a long video. I loved every second of it. But the hardest thing was waiting 20 minutes for a "Shake & Bake". Thanks once again Mr. Wizard for an excellent show.
Never to boring Chris! Could have gone 2 hours and not been bored a second! Only Chris Moore of Moore Mafia could break the world record on a stock wheel base and be talking about a warranty for his production busa! This will break into the 7's when they get it completely dialed in. Congratulations Chris!!!💯👍👍👍
Definitely love the longer in depth videos. I forsee more Motec or at least standalones in your future lol all the custom tables you can build and canbus sniffing and integration is great.
ran a 9.5 on a 1986 GPZ 750 turbo back in the day turned up the stock boost and did some crank work had no fancy electronics just my left hand feathering the clutch
You could see by the last runs that the front wheel was lifting and coming down much slower in a controlled smooth manner and smooth is fast .Loved this video with the onboard camera .
You did a hell of a job riding that monster all the way through the traps I can't believe how far that bike was to the left with the wind.Whoever orders one of those better carry their balls around in a wheel barrel cause that Stock wheelbase Hyperbusa is for a Professional or Top sportsman level rider.
I love wheelie control makes my bike super fast! Any time I turn it off all the bike wants to do is wheelie soon as you hit 6k rpm! I have a modded GSX-S1000 so my power band comes in a little before the R model! But I’m no where near 8 second 1/4 miles! I am in the 9’s though!!
so much fun watching this, would love to see a sleeper version so i don't wake the neighbors on my early morning commute, or draw attention to the Cops. Made in America, love it! I ride a GSXS 1000 and can't imagine that kind of speed. Thank God for blessing you guys with knowledge.
She just don't wanna play nice. Keeps trying to tear you off the 60..... That initial G force, omg what a ride. What a artist who built the power plant. No heating or motor issues.
The stock wheel base class up at Toronto motorsports park has some of the closes and most exciting racing. No aftermarket ecu's and stock hand clutch. Fastest run this year was 8.52 and the gentleman I work for on his turbo zx14r did it at 8.56. So put a stock clutch on it and see you this summer up here in the Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 area 😀. That hyper busa is a beast....so around 65k for one???
Like watching used to run the Texas shoot out with friend of mind had a turbo bike that bitter sweet motor sport put together the turbo system on it had a great time keep up the good work Stephen perschall from slidell Louisiana God bless 🙏🏻
Excellent rider on stock wheelbase I ever seen!!! What hp is on this hyperbusa?? Gsxr1000 without any power adder is hand down quickest I ever seen but hyperbusa on one mile drag race as on the prepared surface with an quarter mile will be the quickest 1 mile ever! Please message me back. I love you Chris Moore! I'm deaf and love every video you make!
@Moore Mafia if you see this the best thing I can tell you to invest in is a Hayabusa Heavy Wheel. It adds 20 LBS to the front which should keel the front end down on launch, another thing is grab a Close Ratio gearbox from Nova Racing, 1st gear is like going down 1 1/2 tooth in the rear which would also aid in your launch, also adds a acceleration from 3rd on up quickly
Makes me wonder how changing the final gearing so it could run out in 4th would affect it. The shifts are quick so probably wouldn’t matter much, but might be worth half a tenth or so.
Through a small screen over youtube; few things really 'look fast' from a first person pov (even though they are). This bike actually looks fast on a phone screen, on youtube. I can't imagine what it's actually like.
Congratulations congratulations to all of you on your new world record!😁👍 I was curious what advantage you felt the Hayabusa had over a turbo charged ZX14???... or might that be part 2??? You trying to break your own record on a Kawasaki??
I built a 500 hp 2000 busa several years back using a kit i bought off line. With the engine ect built to withstand the pressures, stock wheel base street bike. That was a dangerous bike to ride for anyone not use to the extreme pulls it had. I still have the bike. But seldom ride it as if now. I cant imagine a bike with 100 hp more on the roads and how much more you have to be careful riding it. Be safe yall. I parked my for having one to many close calls.
The shot from behind where u can see the suspension compression at launch is insane. I feel for u when the camera in your face shows u almost get knocked off the back of the bike when u nail 4th gear. This is insane for a stock wheelbase on pump gas, STREET BIKE!
Chris great bike and set up. Suk nation all day. Chris is it possible to do a 2-3 part serious on the new busa with HTP. 8.66 @ 166 is pretty amazing in itself on a stock wheelbase bike. Ive never had a "fast" bike, but i took my stock 2012 CBR1000RR to my local track once.... No 8s for me... Not even close. But, i was not and still am not an experienced rider
