For the longest time literally years since I started aim training back in 2019 I have always struggled with dynamic clicking, after watching this video only two days ago, I now just doubled my old score, I never thought I would improve on this category only to have crushing progress in two days, I am so hyped to keep training now, I will watch the rest of your videos and read them as holy script.
Hopped on after listening to this and immediately broke my record for bounce 180 twice just from understanding the concept. It's amazing how much the right approach helps. Thank you!!
Love the series so far , I really get confused on what to focus on as a noobie and you're videos feels like the total package of all the information from the aim community. Really appreciate these vids!
Pasu is one of the greatest exercises because you actually have all angles you will shot in the game. Droping players, jumping players, strafing players, running players... everything
This video is honestly your best one yet. It’s crazy in depth and the amount of time you put into it is crazy. One issue though, you mentioned that you shouldn’t be waiting for targets to cross your cursor and for the most part this is correct, but a large part of this scenario is that right after shooting a target you should be reading the movements of targets surrounding your cursor and picking out which ones are actually moving towards your cursor. Moving your cursor into their path and clicking on time is a HUGE part of this scenario and it’s a skill that transfers directly into the game.
thank you so much and I appreciate the feedback. this is a really good point you raise and hopefully people read this as well, that's something I noticed with high-level aimers so I struggled a little bit with how to communicate that effectively. Because yes absolutely there are times when it's correct to 'wait' based on the surrounding context, because that produces the least amount of waste. A little bit of a paradox I guess 😅
Edge tracking in the aim community has split opinions. In example some say tracking in the center of a bot gives better mouse control, while edge tracking is best for Kovaak’s tracking and getting high scores. I think it would be a good video topic to go in depth about this concept. Thanks!
Yup I can relate to the thumbnail. so far of every scenario you've recommended in the series, PASU has been the most frustrating one to play. But it is very representative of how actual enemies move in Valorant, so I know its definitely worth it being difficult.
I don't think I can express how grateful I am to you and your videos. They've helped me tremendously and I frequently rewatch them when I'm stuck or forgotten some technique/tip you talked about. Gone from VT bronze to silver and soon gold now and you've been a godsend. Many thanks! Can't wait for your video on tracking, it's my "first love" too 😂
so awesome to hear, and congratulations! I definitely built these with the newer-to-intermediate player in mind to accelerate your aim journey, so i'm glad it's helping. i am looking forward to doing the tracking vids as well ^^

@RiddBTW I also just jumped one voltaic rank in Pasu by playing one week on 20cm and then switched to my default 35cm sensitivity. I guess in my case smoothing playlists (mostly pureG or Fallen) on 20 cm gave some boost. I am just happy because it was like 20% improvement.
Anyway hey ridd can I ask u something?I've been trying to improve on my overall raw aim and find my weaknesses but I'm kinda stuck at a point.Since you are the goat and also really good at explaining the things I never heard of before, can you please help me and figure out my weaknesses if u have any spare time?
7:18 fun fact just regarding this bit here, it seems like they are going still or floating because when an object tries to travel in the opposite direction it was originally going in, its' velocity has to become 0 even if only for an instant. this means there is a very tiny window in which the object is perfectly still with a velocity of 0m/s.
hey just wanted to ask if u will ever do an in depth video abut micro shoot scenarios? also love ur vids they helped me a lot in my aim training and in my games.
i did touch on them in the vid on static, it is possible in the future i will make more advanced vids on specific mechanics but if i did it'd probably be one video covering multiple topics
I'm suffering from bad habits and bad static clicking scores. I'm diamond in voltaic pasu, but with 60% accuracy, but gold in bounce shot, and barely qualify for platinum in 1w5ts Rasp intermediate. I am going to have to relearn how to do it somehow.
Probably can't really be answered without a vod, but do you have any thoughts on why someones tracking might be so much better than the static clicking stuff? I'm binge watching your videos right now and this is the first time I've heard of the bard method, which makes sense to me so I'm looking forward to practicing that a bit. Just curious because it seems in my experience it's the opposite for most people, but not for me. I'm not really a beginner, have been top 10 in diabotical shaft arena which is just pure hitscan tracking and pretty much always high in the scoreboard in whatever FPS game I'm playing though I do have some consistency issues. I've never really used aim trainers or analyzed my aim in a serious/thoughtful way until very recently. Sorry if this has been talked about or anything in the video, haven't finished it yet.
it's actually super common for people's aim to be strong in one major area over others, primarily because of the types of fps games they play which favor specific aim types. Like if people play mostly CS type games, their static tends to be far stronger than others. So I don't necessarily think it's something to be worried about, and at the highest levels of aim you'll rarely see people top 3 in all equal aim areas. There's usually one dominant style they favor.
@@RiddBTWThanks for the reply! That makes a lot of sense, seeing as I have a ton of experience in arena fps games and barely any in tac shooters. I guess to get the static stuff better I just simply need more practice in that area.
Personally I love to play bounce 180, it was hard at first (still is) but it definitely helps me with tracking and click timing. I spend about 20mins or so in the same scenario while using other ones like 1wall6targets te and other static ones. Usually good for when I feel like my aim is trash or just need a warm up for a few minutes
Great video as always! Got one question: is the "don't wait for the target come to your crosshair" thing specifically for Pasu? Because on the Voltaic Benchmarks/Fundamental Routines, it says that Popcorn/B180 are supposed to train your crosshair placement, isn't that contradictory to that tip?
check out the reply from SSNinja, there are _some_ times when waiting for targets is the correct play. Especially in FPS games which is what you're training for. But with popcorn you definitely want that smooth, precise adjustment on the target to be an active thing, not passive. The mouse control and fingertip aim required for that last bit of correction you have to do against a moving target is just so important. It's easy to get 'lazy' and not train that part of the movement, but it will bottleneck you.
Just a question, what do you actually think of the Kovaaks benchmarks? Because you think a GM in the benchmarks is just as difficult to achieve as in the Voltaic benchmark's. I have the feeling that the Voltaic BM are harder.
my main problem is making clean straight lines/flicks haha, I've hit plat on the benchmarks but I can't say I'm incredibly happy/satisfied because idk of my technique is thoroughly correct or I ended up cutting corners haha
plat/dia imo is the level where minor errors over the course of the run make huge differences in score. if you look at your runs of a scen vs. a gm you can really see the difference mainly around their ability to minimize waste and execute a complete run start to finish with consistent and high-level execution. the differences in actual technique are much smaller. so yeah if your goal is to get high scores you really have to watch your runs and consciously eliminate minor flaws in technique over time to improve the fastest. or just, spend a ton of time training :P
depends on you, I would say OW is one of the more aim-intensive games. Lots of great aimers only (or mostly) focus on their game, because after a certain point investment in aim has diminishing returns to their overall goals (tournament play, teamwork type things). But I think even in those situations it would be valuable to have a regimen that included aim training in a focused manner. So the answer is, when it feels right for you but ideally never.
might have to do with your technique, pasu you can definitely get away with (and it's not incorrect) a more passive, slow and steady approach instead of flicking between bots. Bounce to get higher scores I think you really need to have the flick + microcorrect style because of the rng in bot spawns. Popcorn's just...popcorn lol, you gotta grind it :P
Hi. I'm trying to get better at aiming using Kovaaks, I see that you're videos are really beneficial and easy to understand. I've been watching ur vids for quite a while. But i'm having problems with reading my opponents. I'm Voltaic Plat rank only. Not really that high.
tough to say, the degree you can get better at reading opponents in aim trainers is focuses around generic reactivity and target reading. Like, training your ability to swiftly respond to change in target direction. But reading in-game is going to center around a lot of things, like the physics, the environments, where their teammates are, cover, etc...and none of that is really trainable in an aim trainer. Best thing to do if you're up for it is to review your vods, even just take short clips when you lose a fight due to your inability to read targets. and put yourself in their headspace. what would you have done in their shoes. A lot of movement reading in game is controlling the fight and knowing what they'll do next. Like if you get someone low and they're behind cover, they are probably going to retreat, and you can use that to your advantage.
I’m on controller and trying to grind my aim so far I focused a lot on tracking smooth and reactive but noticed I have bad first shot accuracy so I want to focus more on clicking and I can go slow and have good accuracy but could never go fast until I started to use this technique I can see myself get faster
that's pretty cool that you're a roller and looking to improve your aim in Kovaaks! i wish i had better advice for you but I'm terrible with a controller lol, but best of luck to you in your training :)
Nice vid! I have a question. You said it is best to hit the balls when they are at the highest point. Doesn't it make more sense to want to hit the balls in every position? Because it trains more mechanically
you definitely want to hit them when they are the most viable, which usually is going to be when they are at or near their apex. obviously that's not going to work out every time, but you want to keep your crosshair around the same height and go for the targets closest to that position. basically you want to minimize waste, the more you chase after individual targets, the lower your score will be.
@@RiddBTW Hey, thank you for the reply! I find this a very interesting topic and I've been training on the Aim myself for 3 months. But there is one thing I don't understand. Personally, it's definitely about benefiting from the training in the FPS game. If I hit the balls at the highest point it is best for the Kovaaks score, but is it best for the FPS too? The way it feels, the scenario is a dragshot exercise (correct me if I'm wrong). It feels somehow more correct to head for the balls in every movement because I hope that this will also train me to hit opponents who want to run quickly behind a wall, for example, and then I get them. In addition, does the exercise not tend to be a static clicking exercise if you wait for the point at which the balls have their high point? Is of course the best and most sensible for the high score. Sorry that it has become so much now, but I have just added such an exercise (Bounce 180 small) to my playlist and am therefore thinking a little more extravagantly about it.
@@TheKidt in a way yes, but the key thing to remember is in kovaaks or aim trainers in general you're training to develop mouse control, not necessarily map 1:1 situations you'll experience in-game. You're not training to hit targets on every potential point on a given plane, there's infinite permutations and an FPS game can decide what laws of physics it wants to follow or develop their own. So it's more useful to train for overall mouse control. Remember in FPS games, even with optimal conditions and targets are moving in predictable paths, you can still miss unless your mouse control is really good. This is what you want to improve on so it's second nature when you're fighting and you can focus on your gameplay and decision-making.
hello i am an italian guy, and i like to practice and improve my hand eye coordination. but i'm in trouble with voltaic's dynamic task, it would be very interesting to have your direct feedback, but i know you probably don't have the time to devote to these things. anyway thanks for the suggestions and explanations, I will try to apply as much as possible
@@RiddBTW actually I don't have a specific question, maybe the only one would be to understand why I have so much difficulty doing tasks with a fov of 103. I normally play and / or use fov at 110/120. do you advise me to try to stay on 103? ps: I tried the playlist on aimlab and found it very useful to test evasive and dynamic
In terms of sensitivity changes a lot of people train at higher sens than they play in game, there's no hard and fast rule that's objectively better or worse. The only real 'rule' would be to be comfortable changing your sens on a regular basis. Not that you have to change it regularly for no reason, but being able to use your sens as a tool is an important concept to achieve.
you took so long to post a new video that i lost this one by one month, i'll turn on notifications bt, when are you sharing your thoughts about rawaccel(mouse acceleration) if ever?
I know it sounds off but i find it hard to transfer the skills i learn in aim lab to a game, For instance, in bfv i end up flicking and shooting right after instead of lining up a shot and being more careful like i would in a trainer.
I would think of it less as transferring, and more as using the aim trainer as your environment to experiment and hone the skills you need in the game. In your example, if you're struggling with tswitching in game, you may not have developed that skill enough in aim training. Try to analyze in game the exact aim-focused reason you lost a fight and train that in aim lab. You could even just focus on one small component of what you're trying to improve like drawing straighter lines between targets. But most times I find that people think their aim is what lost the fight but it was really something else like positioning. And VOD review will tell that story.
@@RiddBTW I think another thing to consider is that aim lab is like the perfect environment. When looking back at my clips it looks to me like I’m missing because of the recoil being random, and therefore I get twitchy while trying to get back on target, and then there’s the movement hitbox es and animations and so on. I’d like to be able to just aim automatically and subconsciously, but evidently that will take some more work
can you please activate scenario names in ui settings? i think that would be helpful to a lot of people so that when they see an interesting scenario that they can play it without asking what scenario that is
i agree, and they are also some of the best for translating aim training into real games! if you can push through the initial frustration, it'll pay off for sure
@@ThunderFlameAttack Totally agree, I've always been completely honest about my skill level, and it's in the intermediate range. I've had VT grandmasters tell me they've learned from my vids. I think it comes down to being able to explain things in a way ppl can learn from them, regardless of your skill level. And I think one day if I get much better, I can teach more advanced topics :)
Not only Ridd makes our aim better, he teaches us patience with the upload frequencies.

My aim technique improved sooooo much after watching this video and implementing some of the tips. Thanks so much!
thank you ridd :D my score doubled in an hour :)
incredible!
I need a routine like this but for popcorn I horrible at it lol
Love everytime This man uploads, just pure knowledge
thanks 😳
This is so painful because im platinum in vt static dots but unranked in dynamic xd
dynamic can be really challenging for most people, keep at it!
Tried your playlist and loved it, pretty dope thumbs up 👍

lmao i know right, pasu was by far my least fave scen when i started, popcorn a close second
I'm way late but it's my favourite sort of task even though it's my biggest weakness
BEST PLAYLIST
i can see myself in first part, predicting where the bot will be :D.. like in Tamspeed 2bpes
hey just wanted to ask if u will ever do an in depth video abut micro shoot scenarios? also love ur vids they helped me a lot in my aim training and in my games.
i did touch on them in the vid on static, it is possible in the future i will make more advanced vids on specific mechanics but if i did it'd probably be one video covering multiple topics
Great episode, i was both aping and leading the target :(
Sorry for the dumb question, where can I find the playlist u better move?

@@RiddBTW oooooooh yesssss
i have been waiting so long for this video

Thanks man I just got silver because of this really appreciate it.
Awesome!! I love to hear when newer players especially get benefit from the guides :)

Any aimlab tasks that are similar to this? I could buy kovaaks but I like spending less lol
I just can’t do the hard flick then track, I do a smooth track but it just feels like I’m doing it wrong any help please :(
Personally I love to play bounce 180, it was hard at first (still is) but it definitely helps me with tracking and click timing. I spend about 20mins or so in the same scenario while using other ones like 1wall6targets te and other static ones. Usually good for when I feel like my aim is trash or just need a warm up for a few minutes
Anyone know where to find his "u better move" Playlist on kovaaks? I bought it and can't find
Amazing video!
when should I stop aim training? Is it useful for overwatch?
depends on you, I would say OW is one of the more aim-intensive games.
Perfect thumbnail to see after pasu grind :)
lol :) the thought came to me and i was just like...yeah I gotta do that :P
It's weird, i'm good at pasu but cant do popcorn or bounce for shit
might have to do with your technique, pasu you can definitely get away with (and it's not incorrect) a more passive, slow and steady approach instead of flicking between bots.
11:00 ish btw, I think this version is actually getting *2* bullets back. The never miss version is giving you 1 back on hit.
@@RiddBTW nah man your Doing a good job I’ve been learning a lot from your videos found routines and better ways to do scenarios keep it up 🔥🔥
i like moving dots, but i suck at static
all my homies hate pasu, but jokes aside, this is a great video btw, learned a lot of things and tips about dynamic clicking
thanks for checking it out and commenting :)
@@RiddBTW long story short, isn't hunting for individual targets also a useful exercise?
@@TheKidt in a way yes, but the key thing to remember is in kovaaks or aim trainers in general you're training to develop mouse control, not necessarily map 1:1 situations you'll experience in-game. You're not training to hit targets on every potential point on a given plane, there's infinite permutations and an FPS game can decide what laws of physics it wants to follow or develop their own. So it's more useful to train for overall mouse control. Remember in FPS games, even with optimal conditions and targets are moving in predictable paths, you can still miss unless your mouse control is really good. This is what you want to improve on so it's second nature when you're fighting and you can focus on your gameplay and decision-making.

hey! if you have a specific question i can try to answer it

I normally play and / or use fov at 110/120. do you advise me to try to stay on 103? ps: I tried the playlist on aimlab and found it very useful to test evasive and dynamic

Should i practice any routine 2x my sens for half the exercise and the other half with normal sens i use ?
In terms of sensitivity changes a lot of people train at higher sens than they play in game, there's no hard and fast rule that's objectively better or worse. The only real 'rule' would be to be comfortable changing your sens on a regular basis. Not that you have to change it regularly for no reason, but being able to use your sens as a tool is an important concept to achieve.
you took so long to post a new video that i lost this one by one month, i'll turn on notifications
bt, when are you sharing your thoughts about rawaccel(mouse acceleration) if ever?
i plan on finishing out this series, then i can refocus on the main backlog, to include mouse accel
Great vid man Keep it up!!
I know it sounds off but i find it hard to transfer the skills i learn in aim lab to a game,
For instance, in bfv i end up flicking and shooting right after instead of lining up a shot and being more careful like i would in a trainer.
I’d like to be able to just aim automatically and subconsciously, but evidently that will take some more work
Yeah definitely depending on the game there are a ton of filters that make aim less meaningful
