How did you create the "Resources" tab with the website (24:44)? I would like to create something like that for my students, but I don't know how. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers.
First you need to go to the channel you wish to place the resources into and then click on the '+' sign near the top of the screen (where the posts & files tabs are) . This will add a new tab to the channel and you can choose to add a range of different apps or websites. If you have a website you want to link the tab to, click on the website option and then a window appears which you can paste in the url link to the website. You can also name the tab something suitable for your student to understand. Once you have finished, you have now inserted the website as a tab in your Teams' channel. I hope this helps.
Good video. We have been doing a lot of this since Team for EDU came out. We are doing a lot of integration with Stream, Yammer and our LMS. Onenote is ok, but there are still some formatting and sync issues. We use Bookings for scheduling advisors. For scheduling students, we have been capitalizing on Planner.
@@cybermonkeyusa wow respect to you l have only used it daily for the last 15 months. I do agree synchronization is a problem. However l do probably make that worse by setting things up on iPads and mobiles, when l have not got a desk top computer available which is not a good idea.
