Charity - people donate clothes, shoes, toys, etc. Those things are sold in Eastern Europe and poor countries. Easy money things donated supposed to go to orphans, poor people, instead go to rich people pockets. UN now openly bring food, help hamas. Before they attacked Israel UN founded gaza, huge amount of money. Consequence was if you noticed the amount of rockets launched on Israel,much more rockets than Ukraine which received money, weapons from whole Europe, nato, US plus other countries. All '' charity '' owned by super rich, the more they donate, the more money they have, more homeless, hungry people and kids, more poor people everywhere. Then check monopol, tobacco, gambling, alcohol, prostitution, human, kids trafficking, abuse drug, and weapons deals, energy, petrol, etc

All these children are amazing and shouldn't have to slowly kill themselves to survive. The young lady in Afghanistan, teaching in the caves brought tears to my eyes with her strength and beauty. They say that true beauty will create tears and boy did she ever. She's a blessing, and if the world had many of her, it wouldn't look like it does🕯
And the reason it has to be done this way is because the rich in the world are obsessively greedy: unwilling to pay the semblance of a fair price to the hard workers who provide them with all the essentials in the economic chain.
And so many others help them to go that far. Without such an amount of help, they could never be that ( much) "rich" ( also money is just a symbol, just to recall. Which makes things even crazier) ...
Not only it's also the way how Afrika is rotten to the ground 😢
Blaming the rich is a very simplistic answer but we all contribute to this with our desires to purchase cheap Goods...The only real way to do away with theses level of poverty is to do away with money in general.

W Niemczech, Francji czy Italii też jest bieda. Życie w DE za 800 euro jest tragiczne, na francuskiej wsi też widzę dużo biedy.
Wiem, jak ciężko pracują rolnicy w Italii.
Ale o tym wszystkim powinniśmy zacząć chociaż mówić, o tych dzieciach, o biednych Europejczykach, o pladze narkotyków która zjada młodych w Europie i Stanach.

i work 80h a week to provide for my sick wife and kid, so they get everything the need, not what they want, but what they need. to think my kid has to to labour and missing out on childhood, the only real thing that matters in life, i cant even begin to fathom.

When I was young there was a pedant old man who once told me to make sure I finish school, because to be poor is tantamount to being a slave in today's world... Boy was he spot on. It is a shame that in the past slaves were the products of rapine and war, whereas nowadays slavery is the result of poverty and the myriad of social ills that comes with it.

This is not slavery, it's survival in a cruel world.
Slavery and survival are not mutually exclusive. These children are enforced into working inhumane positions for long hours with little pay. If you give your slave some pocket change and even let them roam the streets, it does not change the fact that they are a slave.

A little context for the one about sierra leone since I am currently living here and also originally born here. The issue with those people featured in the video is economic. They are not owned as slaves to anyone. The children working are doing so alongside their parents who often come from poor backgrounds and due to economic circumstances they cannot afford to send their children to school. Also the parents themselves are not educated although some may not have education but wish to send their children to school but cannot afford to do so. Please note education in school if not private school are free in sierra leone. However there are certain costs such as new school bags, shoes, special events, transport, school lunch which can be costly especially for those living in remote places. So some people who are making hardly enough to survive for the day often repeat this vicious cycle of impoverishment to the next generation.
They dont work for anyone breaking the stones but their own parents who do so as a trade or business to make ends meet where they will sell their stones to people building homes but sales can be slow if few buyers are available so they often just about survive doing so. Again due to the lack of education they cannot leave such jobs and move up the social or economic ladder .。。ie lack or experience, qualification, education. etc.

@@lc6636 unfortunately the reality of developing nations is that there is very little to no social systems truely in place. Charities and Ngos try to fill in the gap but again as someone based on the ground i hardly see anything they are doing unless ofcourse in very rural areas. Its disheartning as many people are meaningful but hardly ever get something given to them for nothing. Government can say free education but reality is teachers will ask for uniform money, books special even etc so parents have to pay. If not no further education for their kids. Ngos dont pay for the kids to be educated and cant help every poor person. That in itself actually doesnt help the society to develop since they become dependant on that. some give their kids to better off family members who may or may not treat them kindly and that in itself is a whole other issue

on a really deep level you can't be normal i couldn't imagine my kids doing any of the things I just watched. You lose sight of what we have in the quest for more more more. And these children are working there hands raw on a everyday basis for pennies just to eat something that day its sad. And everyone of those kids was working for there mothers to take some of the load off puts a tear in my eye just imaging that wow.
