Thanks for the info about blade wax. I’ve got some knives with D2 steel which have never been wet, never out of the house but are showing spots of corrosion. I’m gonna get some blade wax and treat my knife collection. You video helped out a fellow knife enthusiast today! 👍
Yes I coat all my blades. Tool steel will rust even in the house if uncoated, especially if you store them in the sheath. Frog lube also works if you have some of that laying around. Happy I could help!
I got mine in magnacut and it’s in and out of saltwater all the time here in Southern California. Sometimes I rinse it off sometimes I don’t. It still looks like new and holds an edge better than any of my other knives. It blows my mind. My edc is a benchmade but now I find myself carrying two just so I can show everyone how sick the native salt is!
It's a sweet blade. Mine is the older model before they had mgnacut but I would have gotten that one if it was available! No problems with the lc200n after years of only being used in and around the water. Thanks for watching.
Very nice! I use the spyderco Caribbean for a folder. The salt series is excellent. It's a good thing you were there. It's definitely good to always have a knife.

Yes thankfully the strap and buckle weren't really stuck but I always carry a blade now for this kind of situation.
