A seriously underrated song writer IMHO. His lyrics were heads and shoulders above the vast majority of bands during Matchbox 20's time. Great composer. And beautiful singer.
This was my son's favorite song. He was a huge fan of Rob Thomas as well as I. I grew up listening to Daryl Hall in Hall and Oates and loved the music they put out. I lost my son 6 years ago at the young age of 24............I wish he could have seen this. Thank you! Amazing!

Lordy! These two are so good together! Both have an amazing vocal range! Daryl has always been a favorite of mine, but I’ve just added Rob to the list. What a performer, he gives so much to every song he sings! I could listen to these two all day and still want more.

Rob Thomas does something for me. Watch his mouth though, his mouth does weird things , the way his mouth forms when he sings some words, it is unlike most people. If you watch the She's Gone video from this same series. Watch him sing the word gone. Whatever he does works for him.

I have heard this song a million times since it first came out in 90's but it wasn't until seeing this performance that I realized how great the lyrics actually are.
It's always interesting hearing the same artist sing the same song with so many years between. The emphasis is so different, because I suspect the song is so different for them. It creates an entirely different work.
