    Great review but I don't see 12 rifles fitting in that thing! Way to many shelfs seems like!

    Do you know which library safe comes with a hard key? I don’t want to just trust the key pad to work. Especially if someone tries to break it.

    We have had a Liberty Centurion safe for about ten years. Ours is the standard manual dial lock. It is an excellent unit for the price and has given us no problems whatsoever. Great quality at a good price.

    I wish people would take the inside panel off door to see quality of materials used in it. Because a-lot of them look like garbage. Does it have backup key ?

    Centurion is one of the best values in decent safes.
    It is only 14ga but it is made in Utah and better than most under $1000.

    How much does it cost to have it installed?

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Their website says as low as $280 and as high as $580 (main level install) price depends on the weight of the safe. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

    I got my 18 with digital lock for 580 last year. It’s been a good safe for the price point. Quality is better than most in this range. Waiting for a electronic one to go on sale was worth it. Some days I access it several times so it’s convenient.

      Just try to do a little more in-depth research before deciding. I just bought this very same model yesterday at full price, and I’ve had nothing but problems. Now it’s permanently shut, and none of the known solutions have worked!

    Question for anyone that’s has one of these. How stable are they on a carpeted area if they aren’t anchored down. I personally don’t need it to be anchored down where I live.

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would caution against not having the safe anchored. I'd worry about it tipping over. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

    Nice review. I have some questions. Does it have a way to silence the beeps? Is there a back up key for the digital lock, waiting that long for it to reset would be a problem if you are trying to access guns or important papers (fire issues here and sometimes have to evacuate). Thanks

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't found a way to silence the beeps as of yet, I agree they can be pretty annoying. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

    Thanks Jeff. I’m looking more for something like the hiding shelf for a firearm that you also reviewed. The safe is too big and too heavy, but the shelf appears to be well made but a bit too expensive with the thicker material they want you to add to it. If you run into something quality wise to hold 3-4 9mm pistols with some ammo let me know. I appreciate your posts. I want electronic lock rather than a key.

    Great review! What type of batteries does the digital pin pad require? If you don't mind please let us know how long the batteries last before needing to be replaced. Thanks so much.

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The digital lock uses a 9 Volt battery and the company says you get from 8000-10000 openings before having to replace the battery. If the battery goes dead, they also say your combination is saved for 10 years.

    Just curious if you think one of these would fit in the backseat of a car? Or perhaps in the trunk with the back seats down? I am looking to pick one up this week and wanna make sure I won't need a truck?

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd say no to the back seat of a car...it's pretty big. If you had a smal- mid size SUV you could put the seats down and fit it in.

    I bought a full size gun 🔫safe from Costco in 2013. It was 1k plus tax. The safe loaded with over 20 rifles hand guns and ammo easily 💪. The 9 volt battery lasts way over a year. The largest issue was getting that monster 😳 into the house 🏠. Takes more than 2 Men, but I absolutely 💯👌 loved it.
