Great. Now I struggle with upgrading GLPI to 10.0.15 on this Ubuntu 22.04 server. I usually could upgrade in the past on other installs, but with this one, it's tricky. Any chance to get a tutorial on upgrading to a newer GLPI Version ? Thank you so much for your great content.
Depois de executar o comando mysql_secure_installation não estou conseguindo acessar. Retorna esse erro depois de apertar enter pra entrar sem senha: ERROR 1698 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'
Can you make a video to show us how to import device information in batches through the datainjection plug-in in glpi10,and make devices into a cabinet view? I really need this. I tried many times and ended up with the wrong format. No one on the Internet has talked about it in its entirety!
To add them to cabinets, you need to link an asset to a template with their front and rear pictures. Computer templates, Network Devices templates... So GLPI may find its pictures and use them as pictures for the cabinet.
This video would've saved me a lot of time 2 weeks before. Tutorial well done tho :) Can you tell me why moving the files to different folders (/etc/glpi : for the files of configuration of GLPI (config_db.php, config_db_slave.php) are needed? I just finished configuring GLPI but no documentation/tutorial mentioned the need to move these files to separate folders.
Hi Chris, It is not needed. It's recommended. As in glpi-install.readthedocs.io/en/latest/install/index.html#files-and-directories-locations for good practices of not having critical files and folders on the same directory of the web application 1 - You are in compliance with the FHS recommendations 2 - The critical files are not in the same directory of the web app. 3 - It's easier to move to a new storage if needed 4 - It's easier to backup and update GLPI in the future Just good practices.

Hello Arthur, I have the warning The PHP directive "session.cookie _httponly" should be set to "on" to prevent the client-side script from accessing cookie values." I tried to modify that file, also the client one, and adding the values on htaccess file: php_value session.cookie_secure 1 php_value session.cookie _httponly 1 But nothing of this works... Could you please help me? Thank you so much.
It would be great if it GLPI had the possible to start a remote desktop tool (VNC/Dameware/MS Remote Desktop) for a selected computer.i need the method
Here you can find the documentation of External Links. Some applications accept these parameters to open them with just one click glpi-user-documentation.readthedocs.io/fr/latest/modules/configuration/external_links.html
How about nomachine ? If you have a admin account on each computer, you can access remotely every PC on the lan (you have to install / deploy nomachine on every PC).
Hi. Thank you for the comment. There's a great explanation of profiles on the documentation. I hope this can be helpful glpi-user-documentation.readthedocs.io/fr/master/modules/administration/profiles/profiles.html
Thanks, amazing. But I can't connect to the server with glpi-agent. Is the url different with this installation ? It use to be _glpi_front_inventory dot php. But I can't connect to the server. Thanks for your help. Update! Oh! I had to click "Enable inventory" in Administration - Inventory. I feel dumb.

I've gotten an error now twice when following this guide. The one I'm getting now is this: Job for apache2.service failed because the control process exited with error code glpi Says it needs write access to define.php but I don't understand how it doesn't have that.
