If you upgrade the current version, respecting the minimum requirements, it should work fine since the upgrade script works from GLPI 0.80 versions - more info here glpi-project.org/migration-to-glpi-10-faq/. The update documentation is available here glpi-install.readthedocs.io/en/latest/update.html Migrating to GLPI Cloud Network, your GLPI will also be upgraded to the latest stable version. I upgraded the GLPI on our company from the 0.83.91 to 10.0.16 and it's working great. It was a little bit difficult because I had to upgrade the server OS and install at least PHP 7.4 is I'm not wrong. After that, solve some dependencies and BBD configurations, but pretty easy with the assistant the created. Great job!
hi bud ... by any chance you have a guide on monitoring esxi / vcenter systems ? ... also this vid was really helpful info with what can be done etc with the agent, could be very handy for my company we are looking into integrate GLPI systems for general MSP and monitor, possible slight mods for remote systems etc .. look forward to future dev...hope all is well your end cheers si
Hi Artur, I have an agent designed at home that saves the inventory of computer equipment to a Postgresql database, how could I send this data to GLPI, Native inventory, I could send it through a Python API perhaps, what would the structure of the JSON have to be and where GLPI receives it
Usually, when you run the inventory using the agent and using a GLPI server as a target, the hardware and software is also imported. Unless you change the rules on your GLPI instance to not import them.
Hi Arthur, thanks for the video! Just as a comment: OCS agents (except early >10J old versions) are not compatible with native GLPI inventory, for various reasons. This was also confirmed by Teclib and there are no plans to make it compatible.
Hi. I suggest you reinstall the agent and when choosing the modules to be installed, select the ones you want to be added - in this case, netinventory and netdiscovery - or choose the complete installation option.
