I just found your channel. I love your personality and your ability to help all of us that are challenged in organizing. Can't wait to see your other videos that I am going back to watch!
Patty these containers & storage pieces seem to be a great solution for you. I think they would work for many people to use. thank you for sharing. I enjoy theses videos. Have a great week Patty. 👏👏👏💞🌻💐
#replay. Love your organization videos. As I watch I amazed at how much you have in your small space and what efficiency it displays. For years I have purchased magnet sheets, cut to fit inside my stamp set, and my dies are always at my finger tips when making my cards. There are a few that I can’t use this method for, so they are in a storage bin next to the stamp sets. Works well for me as a hobby demonstrator. Thanks for sharing your great ideas. I am leaning lots of great and helpful ideas.
Loved the video and the storage tips. I agree with paper scraps. I had many and some colors were expired and yes, stresssful. I have ordered many items from Stamp n Storage. Amazing products. Thanks Patty.
Thank you for showing us more on how you organize! I travel with mine, so I use 10x14 plastic envelopes to keep my papers safe. I've labeled them with a Sharpie, but I like the idea of a regular label on them! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Thank you!! Sometimes it feels "selfish" to want to redo things to have them this way... but the stress of leaving them the other way is just not fun!!
Congrats on your career with stampin Up... Great video. I store my card bases and envelopes by size in the top drawer of my bill file..... I like to have stuff out where I can see what I have too... Kind of an out of sight it of mind for me. Recently I stamped each of my stamps and cut out for each of my dies and put them in a binder so I can see what I have....I used my small scraps for this....#replay
I love this video because I am having a dickens of a time staying organized. You have been very helpful. I also have been stamping since 1998 but only became a hobby demonstrator in 2021. I would love to have a techniques book so I am looking forward to your video classes and start my techniques book. Thank you, Thank you.
Yay for you on so few scraps! I use my larger scraps as a protective layer over my cards with embellishments. If under an ounce, most likely you won't require additional postage. -Gaye (Ron's wife)
#Replay. Thank you for sharing your organizational tips. P.S. I made your 5 x 5 album card project to make a birthday card for my 96 year old mother-in-law. I put pictures of her and her family in it. She loves it!
I use my label maker to put the die with the stamp set on the stamp set and the stamp set on the die. Also on the magnet for the die I take a sharpie and edge all the dies like a shadow board so I know where each die goes and that I have them all.
#REPLAY; Patty loved your video I have picked up so many tips from your organizational videos and have purchased many of the items that you use and I love it and tell everyone where I heard about it. Thanks so much for taking the time to share with all of us. It is greatly appreciated.

I include a picture of the die set from the catalog with my dies. In case I am missing a die, I can look at the picture and know right away which one I've misplaced.
#replay, and new subscriber. Thank you for those bins from TJX! I transitioned over into this video, I love stamp N storage but too expensive for me so love some of the other alternatives your showing.
#replay. I am having a light bulb moment! I have the same issue with all the M&M cards/envelopes, note cards, kraft bases/envelopes….I’m going to order this today! Thank you.
#reply I store my scraps in a freezer bag marked with a sharpie and put it in the file folder the card stock is in. I also have a 10-draw storage system that I use for scraps of Foil, vinyl, and glitter scraps by color. One draw is also set up for my DSP that is not 6x6 I am trying to go through those and put them in baggies with the correct set. I understand the stress, I have spent over a year reorganizing my room.
Thank you so much for sharing your problem with scrap paper. I have so much that I get so upset over keeping it because I will probably never use any of it. There is a preschool around the corner from me so I'm getting right on that this week. What if you don't have a cell phone (you know there are a few of us that don't even want one) how can you get the CUBE to work.
Glad the tip helped!! Do you have a tablet/iPad that uses apps? It would work from there. If not, Brother makes label makers with keyboards so you don't need to use an app.

#replay I hope this is the correct place to ask organizing questions. I get so frustrated looking for the name on the alcohol blends. At 75 my eyes aren't the greatest. So do you have a place where you get those little lableing circles or strips with the name of the blends?

Hi Lynn, I typically never do swaps. I make about 50 cards a week for customer thank you cards and mail them all.. so I never have extra cards. I send everything I make.
Replay/Questions: how much do the tall pockets expand? Does the white crate storage have holes on the side for easy pick up? Thanks so much for this video. I am moving and downsizing and these tips will def help me reconfigure my new smaller space.
The crate is solid on all sides - no handles. The pockets, as you can see in the video, hold lots of cards and envelopes in them.. definitely a whole pack of the Stampin' UP! cards/envelopes.
How do you keep your dies in one set together? Mine gets separated From my classes then I don't know which set it goes to. SU used to put the number on each die in the set it goes to but they don't do that anymore.
If I am uncertain, I check the catalog or online store to make sure all the dies are in my set. You can also trace around the dies on your magnet sheet with a silver sharpie marker so that they each have a spot to go back to and you can see if you are missing anything.
#replay I LOVE this video. I've struggled with Memories & More and card bases. Your solution is fabulous and I'm going to order as soon as this video finishes. Some of the other tips were great too! I'm about to start doing mystery boxes and I never thought of just leaving the dies on the magnetic cards and buying new. But, like you time is money to me. I work full time in addition to doing Stampin' Up! so I need time savings wherever I can find them! And, like you, I need to be able to see what I have or it doesn't get used. Do you have any tips for organizing the packaging produucts from SU? That's my next thing to conquer as I opened a drawer last night to find tons of old cello bags and other packaging. Out of site out of mind and money wasted!
Glad the tips were helpful!! Thank you for your kind comment. In the beginning of the video I kind of pointed behind me to some 6x6 plastic bins.. those actually have the SU boxes and bags in them. I did have them mixed in with all these card bases and it was just too much.. so that helps. And my cello bags are in a box .. you can just see them sticking up on the left side of the screen.. they are at the edge of my desk as I tend to reach for them often.
@@pattystamps Thanks for the reply. I think I remember you mentioning those boxes in a previous video so I'll check them out. My craft room is large because it's part of a great room with my kitchen. And I like everything visible. However, it has to look good because when I have guests, they see the craft room. Plus I have a big screen tv and my class room. My DL help me setup for class because there's furnitue moving involved. Thanks, again. Your tips are super helpful.
The ones I am using in this video are smaller.. 9 x 7, so that doesn't hold a piece of 8-1/2 x 11. They do have cardstock storage pockets and yes, those do hold a pack of Stampin' UP! cardstock
