On your previous craft room tour, I fell IN LOVE with your vintage green, metal storage bins. I thought...welll...ya, but I'll never find them. My husband and I went antiquing a few weeks ago AND I FOUND TWO OF THEM! I was afraid to look at the price. They were marked as "planters" and were $4.00 each!!!! I could not believe it. Needless to say they are in my craft room right now! They're still empty, but they're in here!
If you got those bins for $4 you totally scored! They are normally way more expensive. I need to go antiquing where you live! So glad you found them and now it's time for you to fill them up!
@@JulianaMichaels I couldn't believe it either! I was expecting them to be about $30, but they were on "summer clearance" because they were labeled "planters." A very lucky find! Yours are in better shape. Mine are a little rusty, but still very usable for the craft room.
Mine have a tiny bit of rust in the bottom of them. I recommend cutting a piece of scrap paper or something to line the bottom of them. That way the rust won't get onto whatever you decide to store in them. @@floatintoadstudios
Six years into paper crafting and I am purging a lot too. In the early years, I think I had to find my true style. When I began, I was just accumulating. Now I know what I really like and I am very discerning about new dies, papers, stamps, etc…I have donated all my excess to the thrift stores and I know there a a lot of happy crafters getting to try stuff without spending a lot. I am on my 3rd reorganization of my craft studio. I can not believe how many duplicate dies and stamps I have bought through the years. All the duplicates went to the thrift store unopened and unused. I did what you did in your earlier video. Everything is sorted and categorized and in easy to see places. Like you said when it’s too much, I lose my creativity. Now I know where everything is and it is a really good feeling to not see a bunch of stuff you will never use. Now I don’t have to ask myself, “what was I thinking?” Thanks for your inspiring and helpful tips.
Trying to find your style can definitely make it tough to know what to buy. I still occasionally buy something and then 3 months later wonder what I was thinking! I always love knowing that when I do purge, the products are finding a new home where they will get the love they deserve! Thanks so much for commenting!
Beautiful craft room. I kept hearing you say silently, Do more with less. Thank you for inspiring me to purge, purge, purge very soon. Glad to know you’re working with additional companies; congrats!
you have a LOT!!! sure enjoyed your explanations of what;s in where. I've been quilting since 1980 & just found card making when my hubby died 3-4-22. I'm embarrassed about how much "stuff" I've collected already- but haven't used. Just this week I organized a closet for my card stuff used it the first time THIS MORNING! I was halfway through your video when i couldn't stand it anymore & had to go TRY some inks-n-die cutting. You gave me MOJO!! LOL I'll be re-watching this to get a better grasp on it all. Thanks SO much!
I'm so sorry for your loss and hope you've been able to find some peace and joy in your life. Sending you loads of hugs! I am glad though that I was able to inspire you to do some crafting with your inks and dies! It is so easy to just collect all the things and not use them! LOL My baby girl is the joy of my life and I love her so much! Definitely love the idea of repurposing things you already have! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Nice!!😍👍 Love your storage ideas. And you're right- those colored bins with the knobs on them are amazing- even if no longer available. But at least gives us ideas so we can keep an eye out maybe for something like that!! I love that you use other decor items that suit your style mixed in with your craft space. Like the lantern, and the wheelbarrow. So cute!! I think displaying things we love help our creativity and make us happy and relaxed. Thanks for sharing-- a great space!! The closet too!!❤
Thank you for the tour Juliana!! I got some great ideas - especially using the ink pad holders for A2 paper pads!!! I recently bought a carousel for my ink pads and wondered what I could do with the old holders. YAY!! Works great!
Love your room and organization. I also enjoy how you incorporate clean white design, ikea furniture and the contrast of old and antique items, Ziva is so sweet and I love how you keep discussing the room while she plays with her squeaky toys;) What a precious lil girl. ;) can’t wait until the next make you showcase. Many blessings to you;)
Your room is really nice and the way you have your sweet decor out is really nice too:) I have to say the way you showed us your room was the best I have ever seen!!! I loved that you showed us your goodies and how you have them stored:) The best part is you didn’t show us every little thing you have in each item, you said what it was and you didn’t go on and on:) I watch a lot of crafters showing their craft room and they show every kind of pen they have and every stamp they have it’s just to much. I did subscribe to your channel because I am curious to see how you make cards and things thank you for showing us your incredible craft room.God bless:)
Thank you for sharing your craft room. You gave me many ideas on how to better organize my supplies. I also had no idea that Scrapbook had so many different organization containers. My wish-list is growing!
Beautiful and well-organized space. I keep reminding myself that most of the bloggers i follow use their space as an office. 👍🏻 Mine is not at all pretty. Lol
I don't mean to make anyone feel like their space is not good enough. Having a space period is the main thing and making it work for you is the goal! I find that having my room look like this really helps me stay creative and inspired!
Juliana🩷 like I said in your last tour video your adorable minimalist approach to beautiful styling is so inspirational to a massive craft hoarder like me. TY for your lovely videos of all kinds and your relatable content much appreciated 😇 ❤️Andrea
Wow, your craft room looks amazing! I am in awe of all the bins and shelves and crates! I will have to come back soon for the ideas and links. Very inspiring, thanks for sharing 👍
I loved your first craft room tour! I love your organization style! Visual organization fits me best and I really enjoyed seeing what you and your husband set up in the closet. I have a closet in my craft room as well. You have inspired me to add shelves in mine. What a brilliant idea and excellent use of space! Thank you for taking the time to make the video and sharing your thoughts, experiences, ideas and beautiful craft room ❤️
I know I'm an old lady of 72, but sweetie you've got a really cool craft room. I too am a huge Tim Holtz fan so I enjoyed seeing how you stored his products. I could go on forever but I know you're busy. I have been through all you had listed and could not find the paper towel holder you have on the Raskog cart. If possible, could you tell me what and where you purchased this item.
Hi there! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour! That paper towel holder is from Michaels but quite honestly I don't use it anymore. I found the paper towel roll got in my way and it turned so easily that the roll just kept unrolling. So I personally wouldn't recommend it. I'm still on the hunt for a better solution than having the roll just sitting on my desk.
You have an awesome craft room. I wish I had that kind of space. You have me dreaming of ways to reorganize as well. Thank you for sharing your crafting space and organization ideas.
You are so welcome! Having a space of any kind is always a blessing. I've gone from a tiny corner in a dark and kind of yucky basement to this, so I've been there and each time I've done my best to make the best of the space I have. More is not always better either! Happy reorganizing!
Beautiful craft room! I wish I had the space you have. It's a great challenge to keep craft items that neat in small spaces 😅 Some day I hope to have a larger spot to work in. I love all your storage ideas and may incorporate one or two now. Thank you for sharing ❤
I've been there and had a tiny space so I know how tough it can be. For me the best way to keep it tidy was for everything to have its place, clean up after each project and purge those items that I wasn't using (which is really the hardest part!). Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Really like your colorful vintage drawers. Going to ask hubby to make a few for me. You have a very nice craft room/system/set up. Thanks for the tour! p.s. Ziva looks like our dog "Samson".
Thank you for sharing your craft room and storage. It's so helpful to see how other crafters tackle their organization. My closet is my 2024 organizational target. I like the shelving you put in and it's along the lines of what I was thinking. My only challenge is that the roof cuts into the wall, so it'll be a little tricky to sort out!
So excited to see this pop up in my feed!! Love all the recent updates to your room. Even though you have a such a variety of supplies everything is so organized and clean. Excited to see what you create in 2024!
Such a lovely creative space! Great tour Juliana, lovely to see the updates on last year. Enjoying some of your storage options, thanks for sharing this tour xoxo
Very inspiring! Thank you for sharing. Your dog is so sweet. I also converted my closet. Have you considered removing the doors? I know its nice to close it all away but the gained access is so worth it. And your closet area looks so good, you shouldn't hide any of it.
I actually thought about that, but the inside of the closet is visually distracting to me so I've decided to keep the doors for now. But who's to say, that may change as I use this space more frequently this year.
Love your craftroom and all your organization ideas. I am not a paper crafter, I’m into polymer clay sculpting but so many of your organization ideas will work with my stuff. Thank you. I do have one question, where did you get your drawer units that you use to put your specialty papers? You do not mention where they’re from, I’m just curious.
Thanks so much! Glad to hear you found it helpful. Those drawer units are in the description box below the video, but here is a link to them: Amazon.com: IRIS USA 2 Pack Medium 3 Drawers Desktop Storage amzn.to/3NOvY0R
I love the craft room! I t is extra clean and organized. What I am wondering is.... where are all the lovely things you create? Where do you store your scrapbooks, journals, and cards?
Good question! The journals are scattered here and there. Some projects are on the bookshelves, some in the blue wagon and some on the top shelf of my closet. I give away a lot of the cards I make to friends and family members. The rest I have in a basket and I'm actually trying to decide what to do with them.
Love this video! You are so incredibly organized! I had a long weekend (off for the last 5 days) so been working on my craft room. So many great ideas and products here! I got 6 wooden drawers from an old dresser that needed to be chucked....I think they will be perfect for my craft room! Absolutely love your colorful ones! I also have a red lantern like yours too! My craft room is patriotic/ red-white-Blue. The next time you purge...would you consider doing a giveaway for your viewers? (Not that I need any more supplies lol!!) TYFS!! ❤️🦋💜
Those drawers sound perfect! You could even spray paint them and add new pulls to help them fit in with your style! As for the giveaway, if you are on my email list you will be able to keep up to date on when I do that sort of thing! 😉
@@JulianaMichaels don’t need to alter them at all....they are solid wood and a beautiful dark mahogany color. They measure about a foot long, 6” deep and 5”wide. How can I get on your mailing list?
They sound gorgeous! I wouldn’t alter them either! As for my newsletter you can find the link in the description box. But here it is bit.ly/My17TurtlesNewsletter
@@cindyhenry1410 That's great! Make sure you confirm your subscription though (you should get a separate email from me and then the freebie) or you won't actually get added to the list.
Great video tour Juliana! I always love seeing how people store their craft goodies! It's a constant struggle to purge and keep stuff organized but it's great that you do that! Happy New Year my friend!
Really lovely. I especially like your Raskog cart. Mine is similar. I'm curious where you got the hooks on it that hang various things and the long container that holds your score board?
Thanks so much! I tried to locate a link for them, but I could only find them included with a bunch of other items that I don't have or they were sold out. They are made by We R Makers. Hope that helps.
I didn’t see the 2023 tour. I’m getting ready to empty my room, getting new flooring! Yea!! Thinking a lot about layout, and was curious about the size of your room? I want a middle island but am not sure if it will work for me. Love your room. P.s. I like organizing my room almost as much as I like crafting 😂
New flooring sounds great! I do kind of wish I didn't have carpet in mine. I'm always concerned about spilling something and staining it! My room is around 14 x 12. I could probably fit an island in my room. It would just have to replace my table and maybe even the dresser, so there would be enough space to walk around it. And yes to liking organizing more than crafting! Sometimes I do that when I don't necessarily feel like making anything! 😂
Your room is so fantastic. I love all of your storage ideas, all of the assorted funky containers you use, and the touches of Halloween here and there. And Ziva is just precious! Is she named for the NCIS character? Thank you so much for sharing your space, you have so many great idea!
🥰 Thank you so much! I love to surround myself with things that I love! And yes, Ziva is named for the NCIS character. One of these days we hope to add a little Gibbs to our family! 😂
Thanks for sharing your beautiful craft room. Do you have any issues with your distree pins staying put on your letterboard? Mine tend to want to fall out and i dont want to permanently adhere them since we are still waiting for one more color to be relased.
I've not had any issues with them staying put. I have to push them in pretty hard to get them to stick into the surface of the board. I can't wait to see what the final color will be!
Thank you! Those are the Ranger Large Swatch Labels. ldli.co/e/kq90y5m I used my Distress Oxides ink pads to apply the color to the sticker label. Much easier than trying to paint them and the colors are similar enough.
Enjoyed your tour. You definitely have a home for everything and it look great. I do have a question. I noticed that you store your Copic’s and other markers upright on their ends. Is this ok? It seems that I’ve heard and seen both ways. What is your thinking?
Thanks! I'm no Copic expert, but my understanding is you can store them either way. I believe it is recommended to rotate them though, so that the ink doesn't settle to one side or end. Hope that helps!
Juliana, I can’t believe I didn’t see this video until almost the end of the year! I love the changes you made (and maybe you’ve made more since then!) Of course, like everyone else, I’d love to have those painted wooden drawers with the pretty knobs!! Haha! I am glad to see that a lot of your various groupings are the same as mine! My space isn’t as spacious & spiffy as yours, but I have a lot of the white wooden boxes & drawers that Michael’s used to sell. Do you remember those?! They were pretty cool in the pre-IKEA years! Thank you for taking the time to film every bit of your room, I always get great ideas from watching this kind of video! Well I guess it won’t be too long till you make your 2025 video! Have a great winter holiday! Erica❤
They do, but they stick up about 2.5 inches above the top of the crate so if you put 12x12 paper in them they won’t fit in a Kallax unit. Hope that helps!
Oh My Gosh! It’s like a craft store. I would never remember what all was in all the bins and containers. Do you sell some what you make like at craft shows? Remember to get an insurance rider for your room.
Thanks so much! I don’t sell my makes at crafts shows, I would have to make way more than I do to have enough for that. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment! 💜

I absolutely love it!!!!!!!!! It’s so organized
Thanks so very much!
Great room .
Thank you!
@@JulianaMichaels thanks! I signed up! Also....loved your makes on the latest Sizzix release!
@@cindyhenry1410 That's great! Make sure you confirm your subscription though (you should get a separate email from me and then the freebie) or you won't actually get added to the list.
The metal tall “sleeve” in your cart behind the tool holder - where did you find that? Looks perfect to hold those taller/flatter tools!
It’s a planter I have had for many years. I think maybe Darice made it but they are no longer in business.
@@JulianaMichaels 😆Thanks for replying so quickly! Maybe Hobby Lobby?
Great video tour Juliana! I always love seeing how people store their craft goodies! It's a constant struggle to purge and keep stuff organized but it's great that you do that! Happy New Year my friend!
Thanks so much my friend! The struggle is real, but so necessary for me! 😂
So many great storage ideas! I love your craft room!❤
Thanks so much!
Love it! 🤩❤
Thank you! 🤗
Love your room !!!!!!!Where do you store your copic markers ?
Thanks so much! I have them in a small wood planter/crate. I don't do much Copic coloring, but they are in that in my closet.
@@JulianaMichaels and he just announced that we will find out the new color on the 13th. So excited
I know!!! I’m SO excited!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your awesome craftroom...could you please tell me where you found the color dots ontop of your paint bottles??
Love your room. Everything is so bright. How did you get the labels on the side of your ink pads?
I printed the labels from the Ranger website onto sticker paper that you can print on.
Thank you.
Erica❤
Where did you get your distress pin storage board?
Doesn’t it look cool?! It’s listed in the supply list but here is the link amzn.to/3NMrDeH
Do the Target wood boxes fit 12x12 paper?
They do, but they stick up about 2.5 inches above the top of the crate so if you put 12x12 paper in them they won’t fit in a Kallax unit. Hope that helps!
Oh My Gosh! It’s like a craft store. I would never remember what all was in all the bins and containers. Do you sell some what you make like at craft shows? Remember to get an insurance rider for your room.
Thanks so much! I don’t sell my makes at crafts shows, I would have to make way more than I do to have enough for that. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment! 💜
Your dresser drawers are they IKEA not the ones behind your desk the one in front of your desk.
Yes, it is from IKEA.
