2012 prius owner here i’m on 200.000 km now. Didn’t had any problems. Just regular maintenance yearly. I had allot of cars. But this prius is the best car in the world with an engine
I'm thinking about swinging by their place and getting this done. I know how much the kit costs, but how much was the labor to get it installed? edit: of course, right after I made this comment I see the Prius off road website has been updated to reflect their labor pricing of $300, so $600 total for the kit plus labor, not bad!
nice, I've been wanting to do this to my 2nd gen prius but am not sure if I would be able to install them myself. I also wonder how badly it would affect my mpg. Cool to see, thanks for sharing.
I really like how much more substantial the Prius looks with just that bit more space off the ground and wheel arches. 👍🏼 Hey man, this is valuable, valuable content. Priuses are long over due for a vibrant modding culture. There's plenty on PriusChat, but more technical worth not specifically in like Strut height mods. There are many in the car-camper community, many in the prius-ethusiast, and of course the majority of owners who depend highly on this unique utilitarian car. But I would like to ask - give your video a hashtag like #priusoffroad #priuskit #priusmod #pluginprius #priuscamping, as many as you can, stuff like this that helps the algorithm!

Recently purchased an 06, this will be my first mod, glad to see you have this lift.

I know a company in LA Verne that charges $280. $300 is a decent price actually.
Whaaaaat? $300 labor to remove the struts and slap some metal before putting it back on! I'm in the wrong trade dammit.
could you give la verne shop name ? i can replicate same thing@@blackjmyntrn
I had my 2012 Prius for 10 years. Yes you need a lift kit on all priuses . They are just too low
How did you mount your antenna?

Some things I leave to the professionals to install, like these but... if anything I feel like my MPG improved.
Supposedly the hit to mpgs is not noticable. Once you put larger tires, the mpg drops by around 12%

Yep! The #PriusOffroad shop is down the street.
Please turn the music off can’t hear you

I did not know I could use hashtags on TH-cam! Thank you for your comments and suggestions.
What a great idea
