Very cool to see, TOPS Knives is one of the very few production knife companies that do a differential blade heat treat.

I was looking at the TOPS 20mm rail mounted knife to fit onto my do-all AR 15.(Or do everything OK AR 15) and a lot of people talked me out of it (people that had never used it.) but now that I know how they're made, that knife is back on my parts list at number 4.
The craft is real.

I bought the Armageddon but then sold it off. When I chopped down a young mango tree, the pommel did some damage to my pinky. So you can imagine how disappointed I was spending almost three hundred dollars for nothing. I can't wait to try the sxb

Great video. These guys, and girl, know what they are doing. I like the attention to detail and how over built their designs are. This video convinced me to buy one. I have any opportunity to buy a used Black Rhino or US Combat. Hmm, maybe I'll just get both

The only knife I would buy from TOPS is the Tom Brown Tracker one. Just because I want to be tacticool.

Just wish they'd make the Air Wolfe with a flat grind instead of the hollow grind.
I'm pretty sure the Air Wolfe has a saber grind (as opposed to a full flat grind). I might be mistaken, but I don't think TOPS does any hollow grinds except for collaboration knives like the TOPS/Buck CSAR-T line.
InnerBark Outdoors Er, yeah that's what I meant, a partial flat grind (which would be a saber grind) as opposed to what I believe it has (a partial hollow grind.)
If it has a saber grind that would be sweet. But I've asked some people who own them, and have watched reviews that stated it had a partial hollow-grind.

i love these knives, but who can afford one?
A quality tool that costs several hundred dollars but lasts decades will end up costing you pennies a day. And this type of tool could save your life. Do you buy the cheapest tires, or the cheapest canoe, or the cheapest dog food? What might be the long-term ramifications of skimping on those things?
to buy one of these, is like you purchase a piece of family
"everything is done by hand" apart all that automated machine work xD very good..
Do you expect them to forge a blank out of a billet? That kind of craftsmanship if for knives costing in the upper hundreds to the thousands. They treat it by hand, sharpen it by hand and finish it, which is what matters most.

It is very possible that every quality knife made is being carried by at least one memeber of law enforcement. So either you carry shitty convenient store knives or saftey scissors.
