I bet he doesn't know the meaning of "mamasita rica". I think those are the two only words that he should take out of his music. He is really talented 🎶
The problem of this song is that it makes Barcelona sound like a place where its summer all year round with dancing in the streets and all in spanish...non of this is Barcelona. Barcelona is not Spanish. It is the capital of Catalonia, and Sangría is a foreign exotic drink to us. It is only sold to tourists who come asking for it as a tourist trap...in Barcelona we drink either wine, cava or vermuth...and most of all, it is a cultural historical European city with all four seasons including not so sunny winter....we are also discrete people, not hot blooded like this song describes...it actually sounds either Andalusian or South American...but not Catalan...sorry Ed...you got the destination wrong, need to travel more, get more educated. I should also mention...the name of the city is pronounced bar-sah-lon-uh, not bar-seh-lo-nah...as a Catalan from Barcelona I feel deeply offended
Probably one of his best songs that flys under the radar.
I love this song!!! I could say it's my favorite. Sadly never seen this one live :((
My favourite song of his, I think. Genius.
Great songwriting team! Amy Wadge, Johnny McDaid, Foy Vance, Benny Blanco, Ed Sheeran!
We just witnessed a musical genius
One of his best songs!
So nice seeing the making of one of my best songs on the ÷ album
I don't think this song was on that album
@@kyleknoernschild6348 It was. Track number 13 on Divide.
Fuck I love Foy. He puts some of the best little elements on this album
This is awesome
Seeing how he make his music
The guitar riff reminds me of Neon by John Mayer
Yeah, I think Ed was inspired on it
Right?
Only someone who just picked up a guitar can play one and you could play guitar all your life and not be able to play the other
@@cLicKbre I can play both and they've got a similar melodic style but yeah, neon was much harder
@@adamgillespie3393 I agree dude, neither are "easy" to play.
Just rewatched *Songwriter* after 3 years
What a pleasure to see mr Foyce Vance.
Ed looks really funny in that hair

From his documentary called "Songwriter" wich is about Divide and its creative process
I bet he doesn't know the meaning of "mamasita rica". I think those are the two only words that he should take out of his music.
