It's both amazing and beautiful to watch different Masters of the same art like this perform the same Kata but with very different movements laced throughout each form. They all add their personal interpretations to the known skill sets and as long as they can demonstrate why they do it that particular way, they are still doing the Kata correctly according to the art's principles. It is so refreshing compared to a lot of "traditionalists" who don't understand that practical adaptation is a key component of karate's tradition.

How many UFC/MMA fighters will be as fit, healthy and strong as this gentleman when they're in their 70s and 80s?
Traditional Okinawan kara te builds strong, healthy, old men whom never see the inside of a nursing home.

Great videos, thank you... But I wish the music could be turned down or just lost all together. I'd like to listen to the Japanese to try and understand it, and the music just makes that difficult.

It’s not the Martial Arts that influences the crime, it’s the individual who has a need to commit the crime. Although, some instructors can have enough negative attitudes to influence specific students to commit crimes. Again, don’t blame the Martial Arts if a crime is committed.

i love these series of video's but they are almost unwatchable because of the distracting and irrelevant music. why, oh why, do all the Karate video's have to have music to accompany them.

    技の追求、年老いてもできる、技の理論、体型は一般人、凜としている、人によるが危険回避ができ普通より強ければ上等。筋肉プロテクターで力の、どつきあいは好きになれない!
