    Okinawan Karate is a true treasure chest of knowledge . It is short and compact and very powerful. It's not at all what the average person thinks Karate is. This is a really cool series

    Movimientos de defensa envolventes para quitar energía al golpe,agarre con esas manos de acero y golpe contundente que por lo que veo sería mortal con ese entrenamiento de endurecimiento que tienen.

      guys they say what kung fu it from at 17:43 which I don't understand... anyone?
      btw I practiced Chen Taiji and now I practice Chow Gar (Tung Kong Chow Gar Tong Long Pai) you are somewhat right, some says both inner styles, but taiji has mostly soft chi kungs while southern praying mantis is mostly hard chi kungs, this Okinawan Karate totally looks like a SPM version, probably I would do this if I wouldn't found Chow Gar in my city...

    Being hit by someone who is capable of breaking boards and planks is not my idea of training. Tough. But modern mcdojo are simply after money. The Mcdojos would lose students if real Karate is practiced. Most students would quite. They would not stand the pain of real Karate.😂😂

    • @kbanghart
      @kbanghart 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It all depends on what you're looking for. Currently, I'm in a dojo where the only pain we experience is from working out, which is good enough for me. Also from kumite and some other things, but that's not too bad.

      Same with all the colored belts. I studied under Shugoro Nakazato( he was a 9th Dan at the time) in 1974,75 and 76. There were White, Brown and Black belts. They did use Green on occasion (it was age-related. Too young for a Brown belt but ready for the promotion, you got a Green belt). I look at schools in the States and all I see a phucking rainbow of colored belts.
