Horse Chestnuts and Sweet Chestnuts are great to take pictures of and you certainly got some good mushroom pictures, I love the warmth of the Autumnal pictures that you took nice one Paul that was a pleasure to watch. Thank you...
Top tip Paul , have a piece of polythene that you can roll out to either sit on or lie down to get closer to your subject , without getting wet or filthy off the floor. I'm in my sixties with bags of gravel for knees ,the only problem is trying to get back up😅 nice pictures 👍
Wonderful Paul. Landscape photography in miniature detailing the woodland floor images that are there for us all to see if we only take the time to look properly. A lovely tranquil and thought provoking vlog. Superb mate 📷👏🥇🥇
Another great video Paul. I must admit i enjoy taking mushroom image's as it is very relaxing and i have only been out once as the weather has been horrendous. You captured some really nice image's. Look forward to seeing the next one mate.
That was a nice compositional video, different from your usual content and I thought you came away with some cracking Images, maybe more in this style would interest a lot of people, myself included, Colin.
Hi Paul big fan of your vlogs and images especially beach and long minimalistic images, Look forward to getting the notice that you've put up another vlog and Watch as many as I can I'm just up the road from you in the Oldham area of Manchester I'm wittering on a little now 😂. Just wanted to ask about the motorola walkie talkie I see on your shoulder, I've tried looking back on your vlogs in case I've missed it being reviewed but can't find it, have you done a review on it . Thanks Andy
Another chilled video. I'm lousy at this sort of close up stuff. I always end up moving back and trying to include something else, which I was saying to another very chilled American vlogger (Riding the Edge) who almost exclusively shoots b&w. Although did get shots of a swathe of mushrooms on a trees stump in the village woods this year. It looks too 'composed' though, like an AI image. Conkers are chestnuts, Horse Chestnuts, because they used to feed them to horses in the autumn. They're the one's with the thick stubby spikes on the shell. The ones you were shooting were Sweet Chestnuts, with loads of skinny spikes; the sort you get hot on a mock Victorian cart at winter fairs. I liked the titles to the shots .... not muchroom, O dear, O dear 😒
I may not have been the only one who said it. Its a fairly common thing to do when you're hand holding. There really shouldn't be the need on a tripod, especially with mirrorless cameras. If I can hand hold a Zenit, that's got a mirror slap like a stapler on steroids, at 60 of a second then mirrorless should be easy; but I'd still shoot continuous hand holding at any speed, where possible with digital.@@paulcomptonpdphotography
