This is my perspective, Maruti has a strong service network which could work to Invicto's advantage in rural areas. Urban buyers could still prefer Hycross.
From a safety perspective Toyota Etios and Etios Liva were also bad in terms of build quality, maybe worse than Maruti. They just sold in numbers due to engine reliability
On lighter note, please mind your dress code in such videos, at least a track like Azir bro

What i hate from Toyota is not investing on India and simply selling affordable cars at overprice like Innova and Fortuner. RAV 4 Bangalore la test panadhu paathen, but not sure whether they'll launch. Highlander, Sequoia lam launch panalam, kandipa Sequoia vangirupen instead of Fortuner.

I think people buying the car in invicto's budget will expect ADAS and adaptive cruise control as they mostly will be buying for long highway rides, partly self driven... So it might be a disadvantage...

Agree with you. Still I can feel that Seltos is fresh and ruling. It has the perfect road presence, threatening look, arrogant face and complete comfort. And what not in the features list ?
Also as you said, though hector starts the modern era of cars, Seltos really reached out to the middle category of indians and also even it suita for the politicians and higher class ppl. Still I feel that seltos is the perfect car in India. Harrier and compass and hector are also better but they have many issues and drawbacks in driving comfort, budget, steering feedbacks. So seltos always is impressive and a big turn around in indian market

I think, there is a segment where someone want to buy a hycross but don't have Toyota outlet near by especially for service purposes. Maruti's wider network might play a role here

Asir Bro, While buying a new car, why dealer are showing the car only after the registration, Actually after dealer PDI, Before registration, they should show the vehicle to respective owner and get his concurrence right - that there is no dents, paint issues or damages why that is not happening or else are we not noticing that signing all the documents for registration aa?

Often people take dig at Maruti comparing it with other brands .. But mostly for middle class its all about Maintenance . Probably thats one of the reason why Maruti would have let go of "ADAS" coz the cost of calliberation goes high -- especially while driving in B2B traffic even a minimal crash would lead to recallibrating ADAS - which might be seen as a burden for m/u middle class .. end of the day apart from car enthusiast- it sitll is a liability

Yes. I booked Hycross VX last month with a waiting period of more than 12, months. I will wait for the same. As a Toyota fan i will not buy invicto Even if they can able to deliver the vehicle immediately. Even I never visited maruti showroom.

As you already mentioned, "Innova" this is very big brand and people go for that.. Even though the there is a debate of "Is the product is justifying the budget it demands". But as rightly mentioned, people ready spend that money to keep the brand. However, the same cannot be expected for Maruti.
To my knowledge i did not see any car made a success with high budget from Maruti. Why Maruti is in top on numbers - Because they are budget friendly. When we split the sale by car models we can clearly understand the difference, from where the numbers are coming. We can also see Tata making in road into their segment with Nexon and Altroz and taking considering share. I think we need to compare at the car model wise performance, not just over all sales. If we do it will be like comparing LIC with another.
Considering the Indian market, still car is status symbol, at least when it goes to high end cars. My opinion is these majority customer may not prefer to have Maruthi badge. And any one planning to buy this segment car may not be first time user of the car. He will be a long time user and understand the differences. On service network, Toyota is also have good coverage, so it may not ane take away share from Toyota.
I doubt Invicto will make an impact to market.
On the setup, It is nice to see all in one screen rather in two windows. I vote for this setup or similar.

Ps : Baleno made a huge impact in Nexa , I mean the old one . I believe it had a unique body shape (in design aspect I mean ) always first thing which strike any human is design language and also the reliability and economical in city plus I believe the back design was really unique. Yes it was not up to mark in build but it had its own flavour.
Only now we are expecting suv 🚙 design everywhere that’s why fronx and ignis had that design language

1)Is there any possibilities for Suzuki to bring cloned version of Crysta diesel under Suzuki's badge?
2) They've recently brought in Jimny to the market there are some well proven off road products of Toyota (In other countries) Y didn't suzuki give a try on that?

I don't know why you are making fun of invicto.. seen in your last video also. May be a car that costly from maruti may not sell much as expected, but what you are undermining is the whole company and its decision
It's not undermining. It's about her brand value of a product that gets liquidated due to the cross branding
In my opinion, middle class and typical indian ppl other than toyota fans will always choose Maruti invicto. So the sales number will do favour for maruti
