You forgot the absolute best part of this machine. Hooking up your laptop or pc to it and playing all your fx3 or thousands of free vpx and visual pinball tables with OTG mode. You also can play coinopsx on it as well although that’s easier to do with the replacement gaming control board .
Right. I talked about that feature in our Legends Ultimate review recently, but I probably should have at least mentioned it in this video without being redundant.
@@Sypnotix still liked and enjoyed the video brother . No problem. I’m just being honest I have one and I literally just have a pc hooked up to is and run pinball popper on it with all my fx3 tables , Zaccaria etc lol it’s why you were correct in your video if your gonna buy a under $1,000 pinball machine do not buy a 1up machine. Spend alittle more money and you can play every pinball game ever made at 1080p. Where as the 1up table your stuck with what they give you at 720p. It just isn’t even close.
@Richard Hagen if you have a pc with external graphics card from within the last 7-8 years you can pretty much play evrything. Not even joking. I mean going back 5 years and you had nvidia gtx 1080, but even gtx 880's and lower you coulf run fx3 easily at 1080p. Which is what a atgames pinball screen is going to have
I used to have 5 real pins in my game room, and although they were fun, the maintenance was a pain. Retrieving stuck balls, lubing actuators and switches, and replacing boards and bulbs, etc. And it was getting really hard to find replacement parts. That's why I sold them. Im hoping this pin can provide a little less trouble and some of the same gaming experience.
So sad to hear you let go of your machines, but that was one of my concerns with owning one. Have you made the leap to virtual pinball? Did you you get AtGames version, if so, are you loving it?
I just made a Sharpin pinball table and like it that much that it is offered for sale…. To be replaced by the AtGamemes pinball micro. The kids love the VPX Leprechaun king table as it is quite forgiving and has good music and sound
I think Covid and vpin machines like this have helped pinball in general explode again in recent years. I see new barcades opening regularly and prices old machines keep rising.
Enjoyed this look at the LP table! I'd have gotten one of these, but the tiny, little backglass monitor was the deal killer for me. Thanks for the video.
4K coming!!! Ready for AtGames to take my preorder money 🤗 but if too expensive (which I think will be well over $1K), I’ll settle for this model on a sale. Great review 🍻
I have ALWAYS wanted and have FEEMED over a virtual pinball machine, but, $4000/$5000 bucks is WAYY to expensive. For $850 bucks and over 100 tables included, this is a steal!
no soilenoids is pretty much a dealbreaker for me. not interested in buying a pinball machine where there is 0 feedback on the buttons. rather pay a bit more. and there's certainly 4k tables with all the force feedback, but they cost a minimum of 5k.
I see many reviews where people complain About the sound and speakers etc …..and the Ui ……in a play it out if the box type of guy. What’s your experience so far ?
We actually did have a bad sound vibration issue out of the box. Luckily Atgames is pretty good at regular OTA updates. It was fixed surprisingly quickly. The UI as I said in I believe the Legends Ultimate video (check it out 😎) isn't very user friendly but it is manageable
@@Sypnotix thx . So the sound should be ok now I guess ? I also hear there is an “easy” mode coming for the Ui interface. I’m afraid if I buy it they will release an updated model soon after but it looks fun and I love the he old style tables .
@@petermacnab1871 Ya literally a few days after filming this review, Atgames pushed out the easy mode. It is a good sign that Atgames continues to improve operation of the unit through OTA support.
Sypnotix How do you feel about the back glass? Personally wish the back glass part was slightly bigger with a bigger monitor & a dot matrix screen below. Not a fan of the lit up marquee either up top. Looks like it reflects off on the upper section of the play field. Oh & do you think they will add Bally / Williams games ever?
@@Sypnotix hmmm, if you don't mind me asking. I can't get the front of mine to stop buzzing. I did the firmware update, any advice, I'm debating returning the unit?
You can allegedly hook up your Switch to it. I have a decent FX Pinball library on it and this would be a great option to play on. Just waiting on a sale or the new 4K coming out later this year.
Lets go 1 -up we need a HD screen like this👍😎i like the legends version, but im not computer Savvy. Which is why i like the 1-up pinball, but i wont buy one until they change their lame screen, i will just keep playing my Ms Pac-Man 😂👍
A1Up, says- AtGames shmatgames! You ain't pinballed until you tried a 24" playfield, with a chipset so slow, the settings are on low and 720p.... on a 1080p display! Plus go really old school with a static backglass and no wifi! We sure play sum meeean pinballllll! Oh yeah- we cost more than Shmatgames too!
At $900 with shipping I’m good on all of these pinball machines. Game room solutions makes a pinball cab for $300 and you can add 4K screens. If you are bringing your own pc, the at games is a waste. Especially since it doesn’t have solenoids, something at least arcade 1up got right.
Hassan Price if they could some how make one that’s a step above this At games model but make a budget build I’d buy one from them. I don’t think it’s overkill for a 4K vp machine but 1080p looks very good on these as well. Congrats on being a owner of one of those machines they are beautiful.
Wow those do look really nice. Glad you mentioned them to us. I've never heard of them before. Are you in Australia? If not how was the shipping like internationally for something so big?
@@Sypnotix I’m in the US. I came across them by searching out companies that make vpins because I wasn’t impressed with that ATGames and 1up were making. Shipping to the US is around 1500 dollars. It weighs around 350 pounds but since covid, shipping rates have skyrocketed.
Just get the optional joystick panel with trackball to fix your cracked top and you’ll love it
There are 4K machines available. However, they run in the $3,000 t0 $5,000+ range.
I bought this pinball machine 3 weeks ago and I'll tell ya I LOVE this thing. It's incredible. If your not a huge fan of pinball... you will be lol

*2022 they shipped mine altogether in one box. Just an update.
I think you may want to edit your pricing for the 2 companies as one of them has increased prices substantially.
Its on sale now for 750
QOTD: What was your favorite pinball table growing up?
Cyclone and Haunted House. That thing is cool!
Junk Yard: (and basically any machine that Williams made.)
baywatch

Does anyone know if the Atgames legends pinball machine has realistic feedback when you hit the paddles to make it seem like it's mechanical?
Great review I enjoy my ALP, go get the arcade control panel to go with it. Its a game changer 👍

I have a spare ctr board from replacing it with the joystick and button ctr board. If you pay shipping, I will send it to you.

Ikr. I just suck so bad at it. I'm always amazed watching the old school pinball players handle it with such ease.
The way you pronounce Zaccaria makes me sad 🤣
