- In this video, we take a look at the all-new Legends Pinball virtual Pinball machine from At Games.
I have had an absolute blast with this pinball machine so far and look forward to doing some modding and adding our own games down the road but right out of the box performance on the virtual pinball machine is outstanding!
With a 32” 1080P playfield with a real glass top and a 15.6” Back glass panel it doe come in much larger than the Arcade one-up pinball machines but this does cost just a tad more at $600. But if you are n the market for a virtual pinball machine I would defiantly look into this one.

This looks.. surprisingly awesome. Might be my first atgames purchase. I can imagine playing vertical shmups on there being pretty cool also.

As usual, clear and concise review! Long term, the one issue I could see is if folks nudge with any force, I can see the legs getting loose due to the particle board weakening where the screws are- unless anchored with metal plates to displace the force. They should have reinforced the corners with metal, in spite of increasing cost about another $30 retail.
@@InfectedChris Yeah it did look kind of flimsy when he nudged it.
Haunted House and Black Hole were epic pinball machines and they looked good on this unit. Now if they could get Black Knight on here, It would be a must have for me.
All of the included games are made by Gottlieb. If they included some by Williams or Bally, I'd really be interested but so far the list is pretty uninspiring.
@@dnc1769 Bally/Williams tables seem to be exclusive to Zen and Pinball FX3, which you'll find on Arcade1up's virtual pinball tables. Attack From Mars is out now and includes ten Williams and Bally tables.
@@vincentpennock3722 I still have all of the tables that Pinball Arcade put out on the PS3/Android game. It would be awesome if FX3 had all of them ported over but so far they've only done (as you said) 10 of them and I have no idea if they plan on doing any more.
@@vincentpennock3722 only thing bad about arcade 1up is you are limited what you can do on it and it only have 10 games .
I've been thinking about building a table like this for a while so I'm really looking forward to seeing the Pinball FX support (if it does end up working).

assembling the shipped table to play some pinball games seems to be some exciting stuff.
Wow, the screen on this really look amazing.I can just imagine playing vertical shooters on a display that big, or some of the Naxat pinball games like Alien Crush. I wonder if it feels a bit more three dimensional if you're actually playing it versus watching it on video.
Atgames killed it with this vpin table! 1080 at 60fps. I’m still waiting for my 1st wave purchase conf email but eager to see your next videos using pc for virtual fx!

Ive got a 13 yr old pinball hero and this looks great! The option to play vertical bullet hell shooters is really attractive. I'd add a joystick and some at arcade buttons.
That and an arcade cabinet are the two most essential things iw ould want in a true nerd-bunker.

I pre-ordered mine! Looks good! Lots of potential for it to be even better! I heard you can add solenoids even though it comes with the exciters. Great 32" 1080p 60fps. Would love to see some VPX tables future Pinball gameplay from a pc linked up. Now we need a coinops x for pinball. I wish it had chrome legs, less branding and a black and chrome plunger. But mods will be out there for sure. Wi-Fi for leaderboards and LAN for low latency is awesome.

Some of my favorite tables: Fireball, Evel Knievel, Capt Fantastic, Playboy, Kiss, Addam's Family, Funhouse, Terminator 2, Twilight Zone, Xenon, Eight Ball, Dolly Parton, Wizard, and I'm sure there are other classics I'm just not remembering at the moment.

I believe others have said it has the RK3399 chip - which I believe is their top of line.

I believe you can play the Arcadenet pinball games on there already. You just need to push the menu button while on the Arcadenet screen to select them. Last I heard the buttons don't map correctly though, but you should be able to remap them.
Nothing beats a real pinball machine and all the stress that comes with them!

I'm in wave 1 - ordered within 2 minutes of reservations opening - and I finally got my "pay now and wait a few more weeks" email on Feb 12. So I did and I will. I'll see how it stacks up to my home-built GRS-minicab (ver 1) running on a pricey Intel NUC with a 27-inch 4K display - which is stunning, BTW. I even added a "DMD" lcd monitor. The Legends likely won't compare well but it's about a fifth the price I paid to build my own - and it has a plunger and accelerometer - which mine does not have. I really am looking forward to getting the LP. It should make a nice addition.
If I had to knit pick, I'd say the gold plunger washer looks fairly odd but not a deal breaker
I just got my legends pinball yesterday for 250 dollars on clearance! Works amazing! Got the display version from Sam's club! Only the plunger spring was missing but easy fix! Outside of that the machine works amazing! ETA PRIME could you please make a video on how to add like VISUAL PINBALL and FUTURE PINBALL to it? And even how to upload the vertical arcade shooter games etc? I would really like to get that stuff going on my new machine immediately, thanks bud!

Excellent video. And regardless, just the product alone (two monitors, the casing, legs, etc.) totally makes it worth the price - especially if you tried to build one yourself.
That's a fair assessment. The failure rate on these seems kinda high, but you can mod it up nice if you know what you are doing... which i do not lol, which is why i'm going with the pinball king i think.
This should have shipped with a joystick add on, could have been amazing for vertical scrolling shooters.

I want a virtual pinball machine, even though I don't understand how to diy one. The only requirement I have is Silverball Mania.
Once I am able to comprehend putting all the software together, I will be so happy.
Any update on how the tinkering is going? I know you mentioned a follow-up video on what you are able to add (VPX, Future pinball, etc), curious if you have gotten through! Love the channel!
When this was announced, rumor was that games could be streamed off the Android app of Pinball Arcade, who did the emulation for this machine. I'd love to see if you can get that running, since many Pinball Arcade Williams tables are no longer available due to licensing issues and haven't been licensed on FX3, who did the emulation for the Arcade1up tables.

enjoyed the review. I really need to know if that tiny, little back glass monitor can be retrofitted for a 20, or 21" monitor. I hear the connection will have to be adapted from a proprietary connection to hdmi / vga, for any different monitor. My plan is to front mount the bigger monitor, pull the existing one, and run the cabling through the old monitor's bezel. I gotta be able to "SEE" the scores, and better appreciate the back box artworks. LOL. Thanks for the video.
I'd love to see someone figure out some stereoscopic 3D for these tables. Not sure how though! Most 3D TVs work in landscape.
I would like to see is difficulty levels or the ability to change the speed of the game. Lower speeds to make a game easier for kids and less experienced players wanting to learn, and faster speeds to add more challenge to the games for pros players who have mastered a game able to play forever at realistic game play settings.
I'd like to see pretty much any other tables running on this machine. Visual Pinball and FX3 tables. I want to see them working with the accelerometer nudging (manual nudging, not button nudging.)
Are there any Williams tables? Just wondering if they have a license for them... I'd love to see Addam's Family, Terminator 2 or Cyclone become available.

Farsight is the vendor doing the built in tables and they lost the williams license a long while ago. Pinball FX from Zen is the one that has the williams license currently so if you want willaims you'll need the zen software on a PC with HDMI connection. Or arcade1up pinball machine might be worth a look but its a lot smaller size.
The Williams tables, you have to look at Arcade1Up virtual pinball machine then, whenever they get around to actually releasing it, Which is the equivalent of Pinball FX3 Williams Pinball Volume 1 - 4 when I last looked.

For now, I’m happy with my 2 Arcade1Up tables.

Please show us how to increase the Monitor in the Backbox from 15.5 inches to 17 inches...or even 19 inches...if necessary, the lighted marquee showing "Legends Pinball" can be removed...as that labeling is include in numerous other locations on the cabinet. Thanks.
Looks great. Did the score appear between the speakers on a smaller DMD? I wasnt able to see that. Excited to see VPX running suing the hardware.
ETAPrime if you can do a video on interfacing a PC or SBC to both displays and haptic feedback that would be great.
I understand the machine is required to move but those cheap thin gauge stamped steel legs along with the mounting points look like they might shear off if some kids go ham. Looks pretty badass tho.
After having one of these machines for a little over a week, there's a few things I wish @games had been more explicit about:
Setting up a memory stick
Connecting the USB to a computer
Using CoinOpsX, especially the first time
Which software is best for pinball emulation and where to find it
The only pinball game I really care about is medieval madness.
