I rode ROTR a couple days ago at Disneyland with my sister and both of us were in complete awe in how amazing it is!! We couldn’t stop talking about it hours after we came back from the park that night. As a Star Wars fan, I couldn’t stop seeing all the details that made up the amazing ride. And on top of the details of the ride, the cast members did an amazing job because they made us feel like we were actually in the ship. I agree that it is an experience, not just a ride! Anyone should have a chance to ride it at least once in their lives. The ride truly lived up to its hype.
Loved meeting you yesterday! Always hoped to run into you one of these days, you're awesome! I had a party of 6 and we got boarding group #30! Our group was called at 11am. It was a crazy day, but definitely worth it!

One of the main reasons i love Disneyland so much is the idea of escapism. And while I have not been on this ride, i can see that they accomplished that to a T.
So, the 17th was my birthday and went with family. We got boarding pass 95 and wasn’t sure if we were going to actually make it on. We finally did and with a baby swap so got to do it twice around 8pm. I have to say I had a very similar reaction and feelings as you did. I’m a huge Disney and Star Wars fan and it was above and beyond anything I expected. Just mind blowing. The details and immersive-ness of it all was nothing short of amazing. I went to Opening Day of Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios and I can tell you without a doubt that his reaction is not all that uncommon. People, including myself, were extremely emotional walking out of that ride. Even people that aren't Star Wars fans. The storytelling and the transitions are so well executed that if you are a theme park fan you will absolutely love this. It's like the 21st Century version of Pirates.

Everything Dylan said is right! I went on it today (Saturday 01/18/20). It's so much more than a ride. It's by far the greatest experience ever designed for a theme park. Get into the park before 8AM so you have a shot at a boarding group. In 2-3minutes after 8:00AM all groups were booked for the day. About 15 seconds after 8:00AM me and my bestie got boarding Group 71. Tip: Go with multiple people all linked on MaxPass to increase the likelihood to get a better boarding group. It's worth the effort. I still can't believe what I experienced today - it's an artistic and technological marvel.
I rode it at Disney World about 3 weeks ago and still remember everything, from the queue to the First Order cast members interacting with us, to everything on the ride. Absolutely incredible

Just rode it today, I felt EXACTLY the same as you did after. I never get emotional, but i did at the end. It's just soooo well made. (I said a little prayer and touched my recently deceased dogs urn for good luck this morning, low and behold, I got boarding group 16!)

Monday 1/27/20 - Park opened at 9am. I got there at 9:07am. Got boarding group 122... totally bummed... but luckily my boarding group was the very last group to be called. I got super duper duper lucky. Ride was amazing! Simply brilliant! Going again on Wednesday!!!

I'm taking my family of 5 to Disneyland the end of February...it sounds like they'll be doing boarding passes for a while and I guess I'm nervous about getting all of us on one boarding pass. I'm totally naive about this because I have never been to Disneyland with a smart phone before. I've been going to Disneyland for almost 40 years ( i was a baby my first time) and this will be the first time with a smart phone. SO I guess I'm wondering, do I have to do the boarding passes separately for each ticket in my group, or is there a group option where you can get everyone on the boarding pass all at once? Thanks for your videos! It's wonderful to see the parks on your videos in between our visits every couple of years. I've seen a ton of Disneyland vlog videos and yours are the ones I prefer to watch. So thanks! :)
If all of your tickets are linked on the app, youll be able to book your boarding group together . Just select how many in your party and you are set. And be fast, make sure you have everyones tickets synced up before you even get in the park because once the clock hits 8 or whenever the park opens thats it. You have seconds to grab your boarding pass. And of course thanks so much for the support, Im very glad you enjoyed this video. =)

I was great talking to you on that day and finally meeting you! We talked about how this is one of Disneyland greatest attraction ever that is something from Tokyo Disney.
Dylan!! WOw, I feel like I’m going to cry before I go on the ride. We went into Galaxys Egde for the first time In October (yes, Im Super late to the show) lol. But I cried, my oldest son was almost in tears too, my oldest brother has gotten him heavily into Star Wars, so it was awesome for us.

I've been waiting for this video!! Thank you for posting! I am so excited to experience this attraction!! I'm taking my family of 5 to Disneyland the end of February...it sounds like they'll be doing boarding passes for a while and I guess I'm nervous about getting all of us on one boarding pass. I'm totally naive about this because I have never been to Disneyland with a smart phone before. I've been going to Disneyland for almost 40 years ( i was a baby my first time) and this will be the first time with a smart phone. SO I guess I'm wondering, do I have to do the boarding passes separately for each ticket in my group, or is there a group option where you can get everyone on the boarding pass all at once? Thanks for your videos! It's wonderful to see the parks on your videos in between our visits every couple of years. I've seen a ton of Disneyland vlog videos and yours are the ones I prefer to watch. So thanks! :)
If all of your tickets are linked on the app, youll be able to book your boarding group together . Just select how many in your party and you are set. And be fast, make sure you have everyones tickets synced up before you even get in the park because once the clock hits 8 or whenever the park opens thats it. You have seconds to grab your boarding pass. And of course thanks so much for the support, Im very glad you enjoyed this video. =)

I love your reaction to the ride experience! I cried when I saw the Falcon when we visited Disney back in October, it was my childhood wish come true. So amazing and I'm looking forward to this ride experience in 2022 for our next visit.
