Hi fellow! Always put the impeller first,then the impeller s house...so...put the impeller s pin in the corect position,pull down on the shaft the impeller,put some grease,just a bit in the impeller house,after u put the impeller,come with the impeller s house...in the same time turn the shaft in the clockwise direction pulling the impeller house down. This way u ll be sure the impeller s pallets r in the correct position. The way u was doing u risk that not all the pallets to be in the corect position,in this case the impeller it will be faster damaged. Good luck nd regards from Romania 🇲🇩 Europe!!!

I wonder what model does you have. my is 3sf i think it made in 1989 or from that (1989-1997). Looking for where the water come out to cool the motor. my water pump impeller, still good. Have you experienced this before? i tested it on a suzuki dt2, they pins will just bow/swap direction of the motor. i dont think its much of a problem. Maybe it does on a older impeller thats more stiff.
@@williamtunnell i meant the blades of the propellor wil automatically align correctly do the rotation of the shaft. But if you can do it the right way from the start it better for sure.

That's exactly how the Impaler works it's tight on one side so that it creates suction and why they always need to be in water to not heat impeller

Hey brother - sorry it took so long. The Model is 3MSHR. There a code too: 6L5 S.
Wont have a tell tale jet just a little vent outlet that splutters exhaust and water out.
The impeller must be turned into housing the same way that it normally turns!
Will be damaged if not.
