- The new Hyundai Verna 2017 has finally gone on sale in the Indian market, and we recently drove it on the outskirts of Kochi to test its capabilities. While there are significant changes to the car's exterior design, interior and features, it's the car's improved performance that brought smile to our faces. Yes, Hyundai still needs to work on a few areas the car has become so much better in terms of ride & handling. And at a competitive ex-showroom price range of Rs 7.99 lakh - Rs 12.61 lakh (for first 20,000 customers), the new-gen Verna is a compelling package.

Hii...it was nice video explaining things in most understanding way , but i guess you forgot to mention about the feature of smart trunk in the new verna . Its really a good feature which you cannot afford to miss and surely one of the good reasons to buy this car
This is the only thing i felt lacking in the video, otherwise it was a good attempt in making people understand in easy way

Thanks a lot for the compliment, brother. :) If performance and build quality are your priorities, go for the VW Vento. Yes it's expensive to maintain, but no product matches its quality and drivability. Our second pick would be the City petrol, as it's lot more engaging to drive and offers a bigger cabin compared to the new Verna. The Verna is an overall great package, the only problem is its little congested rear seat (at least for tall passengers).

Good Information and review, I have finialised and booked the top end diesel SX(O) model. One question I felt the headlights to be dull and not very effective but the Cornering headlights is good, will changing to LED headlights help? Will this void any warranty?
For that you'll have to speak to them. Coz in cases when a car comes across any electrical/wiring related issues, they bring up such thing. Though most dealers don't do such tantrums, but a few do.

Let's wait for the new Aspire, that's coming on October 4 and we will drive it on 7th. Will be able to answer that only after driving the new model. In the current lot, I like the Dzire petrol manual, Amaze petrol/diesel automatic and Aspire diesel manual.

Agar overall performance aur cabin space ki baat karein to Honda City surely ek better option hai par agar features aur interior quality ki baat karein to Verna ek jyada accha product hai.

If you want a more spacious cabin with good space at the rear seat as well, go for the City. But if you want a more feature-rich car with better interior, go for the Verna.
IndiaCarNews Studio I think city also offers good quality interiors and features are also good. Rear Seating angle in Verna acc. 2 me is poor. So I think i should not go for Verna...how about city diesel...?.or city is only good in petrol and poor in diesel???????
