Don’t give up keep weeding and fertilizing it takes a few years to get going remember the first year your perennial and hearbs sleep the second year they creep and then the third year they leap . Leave your roots from your plants in the ground to break down so your soil gets the nutrients it needs. Love the property. Put your chickens in a closed in fence where you want them to scratch and till for you then let them out after they have done their job. Takes a few days. Yall doing great job
Thank you! I didn't know that about the three years for perennials, very helpful and encouraging to know! Yes, we just learned that we don't have to pull everything from the garden soil, will be cutting going forward. Soil health is def the best to strive for!
