    What questions do you have about AAC Teletherapy?

      Rebecca Hatch Venita shared her iPad screen using screen mirroring under the advanced sharing options during a Zoom call. So as long as you have the license on your iPad, you could share whichever app you want!

      The circling was done with the “annotate” feature right there in Zoom!

      Rebecca Hatch This is a Zoom feature called “annotate.”

    Hello there! I am loving your video! I have a student who is using TouchChat and I am trying to get a keyboard on my screen, to share with him, give him control, and let him type, using the keyboard in TouchChat, or another keyboard available. How would I go about doing this? I am a special ed teacher, so I am not his SLP and I currently do not have a TouchChat program on my laptop. Is this something I can do? His goal is to type sight words on his device, but according to family, he does not have a keyboard on his touchChat to be able to do that. He is a fully remote student so I have not been able to see his device or find what I need on it. Help!

    Hi- great video. How did you present the target words circled?

    • @emilydiaz3897

      Sean Sweeney To circle the target words, we used the annotate feature in Zoom. You can choose a shape & color to draw on the screen.

    How do you get your device screen on the screen? I just had my first session with a student this morning and was trying to just hold mine up, but there was a lot of glare!

      Julie Harrison We used screen mirroring! There are a few ways to do this depending on your situation. Feel free to email me: hello@emilydiazslp.com

    Hi! Thanks for our video! Love it. I have 2 P2G users and am trying to mirror my iPad. Any options out there that are free? I'm finding it hard to teach parents but I think with some time and these tips it will hopefully get a little easier. It's hard for parents to deal with behaviors as well as learn the device themselves if they don't feel confident. I hope mirroring will help!

      Kate Birch In Zoom, I am able to use the screen share option to mirror and share my iPad screen. That’s how we did it in this video! You can also get a 30 day free trial of AirServer which is another option for mirroring your device.

      @@emilydiaz3897 Thank you!! What about if I want to also share a PDF? AirServer would work but do you happen to know of any free ones? Thanks for your help and these videos.

    Is using NuVoice an option if we don't have access to WFL on an iPad for therapists?

    • @emilydiaz3897
      @emilydiaz3897  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could totally do this with the PASS software or ChatEditor!

    • @emilydiaz3897
      @emilydiaz3897  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just don't think those have any voice output. But they would still be great options for modeling & coaching.

    Hi Emily. This was a great video. I am about to attempt to do some Teletherapy with my AAC users but my company are only allowing us to use Microsoft Teams as our platform-have you any experience using this to support your AAC users? In order to Screen Share (which I know you can do in Teams) you obviously need the communication software installed on your own teletherapy device- I thought LAMP WFL is only compatible with Apple devices? Please help x x

      @emilydiaz3897  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Teresa Orlandi I have not used Microsoft Teams yet! But it’s good news that you’re able to screen share from that platform. You can use a software called AirServer to mirror your iPad onto your computer screen before you activate screen share.

      Emily Diaz Fantastic! I had not heard of that software. I’ll give it a go 😊😊
