Rebecca Hatch Venita shared her iPad screen using screen mirroring under the advanced sharing options during a Zoom call. So as long as you have the license on your iPad, you could share whichever app you want!
This is amazing I love it! Makes me want to work with kids again! Aac is becoming something I’ve been learning to love it intimidated me at first but now I really like it and want to become more knowledgeable in this area as an SLP
Hello there! I am loving your video! I have a student who is using TouchChat and I am trying to get a keyboard on my screen, to share with him, give him control, and let him type, using the keyboard in TouchChat, or another keyboard available. How would I go about doing this? I am a special ed teacher, so I am not his SLP and I currently do not have a TouchChat program on my laptop. Is this something I can do? His goal is to type sight words on his device, but according to family, he does not have a keyboard on his touchChat to be able to do that. He is a fully remote student so I have not been able to see his device or find what I need on it. Help!
How do you get your device screen on the screen? I just had my first session with a student this morning and was trying to just hold mine up, but there was a lot of glare!
Hi! Thanks for our video! Love it. I have 2 P2G users and am trying to mirror my iPad. Any options out there that are free? I'm finding it hard to teach parents but I think with some time and these tips it will hopefully get a little easier. It's hard for parents to deal with behaviors as well as learn the device themselves if they don't feel confident. I hope mirroring will help!
Kate Birch In Zoom, I am able to use the screen share option to mirror and share my iPad screen. That’s how we did it in this video! You can also get a 30 day free trial of AirServer which is another option for mirroring your device.
@@emilydiaz3897 Thank you!! What about if I want to also share a PDF? AirServer would work but do you happen to know of any free ones? Thanks for your help and these videos.
Hi Emily. This was a great video. I am about to attempt to do some Teletherapy with my AAC users but my company are only allowing us to use Microsoft Teams as our platform-have you any experience using this to support your AAC users? In order to Screen Share (which I know you can do in Teams) you obviously need the communication software installed on your own teletherapy device- I thought LAMP WFL is only compatible with Apple devices? Please help x x
Teresa Orlandi I have not used Microsoft Teams yet! But it’s good news that you’re able to screen share from that platform. You can use a software called AirServer to mirror your iPad onto your computer screen before you activate screen share.
What questions do you have about AAC Teletherapy?

The circling was done with the “annotate” feature right there in Zoom!
Rebecca Hatch This is a Zoom feature called “annotate.”
Victoria Deku That would be a Zoom feature! It’s called “annotate.”
@Emily Diaz what license do we need to have it on our iPad?

Thank you for the great video! I feel a lot more confident now :) my first AAC tele-therapy session is this Thursday

Hi- great video. How did you present the target words circled?
Sean Sweeney To circle the target words, we used the annotate feature in Zoom. You can choose a shape & color to draw on the screen.
😊

Julie Harrison We used screen mirroring! There are a few ways to do this depending on your situation. Feel free to email me: hello@emilydiazslp.com
Thanks for sharing. I like this unfortunately my parents don’t have access to 2 devices( laptop and iPad)
Hi there. What setting do you work in?
Thank you for the video!
How is she sharing the LAMP WFL on the screen? What tool for highlighting the words she's targeting? THANKS
Kelley Capin Screen mirroring & annotate feature. I’ll send you a video on Instagram to show you :)
@@emilydiaz3897 I appreciate you. Your at-home vidoes have been great. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Is using NuVoice an option if we don't have access to WFL on an iPad for therapists?
You could totally do this with the PASS software or ChatEditor!
I just don't think those have any voice output. But they would still be great options for modeling & coaching.

Emily Diaz Fantastic! I had not heard of that software. I’ll give it a go 😊😊
What if your platform does not allow screen sharing?
adannadb13 Which platform are you using for video calls? I’d love to help you troubleshoot this.
