- Simple and easy way to make a pendulum clock with mechanical escapement at home , which will work 100% . The same is explained starting with basic theory . The clock is made from easily workable materials such as PVC foam sheet . Suggested project for school children with some help from adults.
Ur a star bro...the diagrams are amazingg...the creating simple and easy...
Simple & nicely working it deserves millions of views
Love it! Very elegant design!
Hey i love ur design...what are the exact dimensions of the control mechanism...like the dimensions of the circular shape at the top..
Easy and simple to make !
I 3d printed galelio pendulum but it's not oscillating smoothly as yours
You may try tilting the base either ways marginally (say by 2 to 3 degrees )
Thank you for sharing. Is it possible to share the drawings?
The detailed scaled drawing are given in the vidio itself .
Hi, is this your own design? I would like to discuss permission to use it in a book.
Yes , it is my own design . You are welcome to use it . Please let me know when & where it is published . Thanks.
How did you determine the dimensions of the diagrams? Can you tell me where I can find the theory behind it?
I determined the dimensions by drawing the layout to keep it easy and simple . I provided for adjustable pendulum teeth ( i.e. two small metal strips ) which enable fine adjustment of the length required .Thanks .
@chandrakantkanetkar2027 oh so some trial and error then , thanks.
What are the measurements for the teeth of the gear?
Inner diameter 30 mm , outer diameter 40 mm divided in 6 equal parts , as shown in scale drawing of Drive Mechanism !
how did you get the cut lines on your pvc foam board so clean? i am using a box cutter and the blade is chewing up the material
Probably you need better quality PVC foam board .
