      @Matt Ellis going running and having bounce in your legs are different...also you are a little dude...Wilder was 231 pounds which was also a problem in my opinion
      Besides that tho Fury fought a great fight

      @Matt Ellis Well my Lil bro is an amateur in the DMV a d I'm in the same gym...we used to run all the time but now I have a career so it is what it is.
      I know all about punch flow yada yada
      What you don't get is that you're little...bigger men just don't move as well as smaller men in general and that extra weight has a lot to do with it.
      Maybe wilder can do some things differently but he never had stamina issues before this fight so what was different?
      The difference was weight...his weight...maybe the weight of the suit (it's a weird excuse true) and the weight of Fury.
      In general black men have skinny legs...doesn't mean they're not strong but in general are legs are skinnier...so believe what you want that's cool but for you to compare you running to Wilder being in a championship fight is ridiculous

The judges should be locked up in prison because fixing a fight costs legal gamblers millions of dollars and that first fight was far from a draw. Wilder will always be the same bum with lots of talent but no skill because he's too stupid to learn.

    • @dawb86
      @dawb86 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Yanic Yoda Thing is, having the tape on the Wilder/Fury 2 bout gives Joshua a blueprint on how to train and approach a fight to beat Deontay. I think he'd know not to fight timid and be ready to throw that hard counter when Wilder gets desperate and tries to drop that hammer right.

    • @dawb86
      @dawb86 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Peter Paj Wilder does currently hold the mental advantage over AJ right now because he felt he was running scared from him before. However, while Fury's physical attributes did neutralize that advantage Deontay usually holds over others, it wasn't the main reason for Tyson's dominance in that performance at all. Like you said, Tyson was utilizing his jab and Wilder was not. Lewis even said it during the ringside commentary. AJ's got a very good jab that he utilizes well and to me more power than Fury. Something few people mention when talking about Tyson is his constant feinting and head fakes, which completely throw most heavyweights off. If AJ goes in the ring with that same strategy on Wilder I actually think he's more accurate with counters then Fury and wins that bout. Could possibly even score a KO.

    • @dawb86
      @dawb86 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Peter Paj All valid points. He can't use the exact same strategic plan but enough was shown that if AJ doesn't go in there half-cocked and utilizes his (also) superior skillset he should for all intents and purposes be considered the favorite in a bout between the two. I see Wilder being the fighter more likely to throw a desperation shot at the wrong time to potentially critical effect in Joshua's favor...

      So true. In the first fight Fury was boxing beautifully the whole time so Wilder expected the same thing. As soon as the fight started Fury was all over him and after the first round you could see he was in shock. He never expected Fury to bum rush him and never let up and he could do nothing about it so he was instantly desperate. Wilder was missing punches by 4 feet because he was jumping out of the way as he threw the punches. This was extremely satisfying because I really can't stand Wilder and wanted to see him take a hard L. I thought Wilder had no chance but couldn't believe he was that ineffective.

    • @BohemianGroveify
      @BohemianGroveify 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Wile E Coyote yes but that was after the the round where he got that punch to the back of his head and equilibrium off, he was actually just falling all over the place after that 2 times not even from punches his legs were gone, his legs were showing small signs of wobblyness in the first round too like he came to the fight messed up or something, so I wouldnt say that body punch was an example of his power, a simple push could knock wilder down the way he was by then. But those flush head punches didn't ko him, I don't understand how fury could be so monsteroulsy huge but ineffective against being able to ko wilder. I think Tyson really thought he would ko wilder in the 2nd round.

      Fury discovered the blueprint for beating Wilder. There's no way that Wilder can make the boxing adjustments to neutralize Fury. He'd honestly need about two years straight of building stronger fundamentals. Wilder iss not a slouch, he's just not there in terms of throwing combinations together and some of the softer fundamentals like feints and opening a boxers defense with other tools outside of the same old counter style that he uses, which is basically a fake jab followed by his cross. So basically he needs to be much more versatile. The second fight is going to be worse. Fury just changed trainers and give him another full camp to really hone in on his k.o. power, sorry to say, but Wilder won't make it out of the 5th.

Fury never fought anyone besides over the hill klitchsco.. So how is he or aj better than the guy who is the worst boxer in the world but tied with ali with defenses, 40 consecutive wins started in his 20 has no skill or real experience no support and gets hurt in third round to were he can't fight back but even if he could and was healthy is the worst fighter ever and fury still couldn't put him away until the 7th even then towel was thrown in... give me a break

    Wilder threw a perfect one-two punch in the first round ,giving Fury a battle scar. Nicely done but ,....the point is Fury didn't flinch. I said this from the first fight ,Wilder can throw his best at Fury and so long as Fury does not put his head in the perfect spot for Wilder to hit (like he did in R12 F1),...then he is not going to hurt Fury to any degree. The 9th round knockdown in F! was a hit to the back of the head,Fury does not complain.The second 12th Round knockdown in F1 was more about Fury's mistake ,not Wilder's power (which in most cases is extreme).I'm saying Wilder has a great straight right hand and it has served him well against less tall fighters,but not Fury.

Every time Wilder stepped forward to throw the big right he ran into a telephone pole with a boxing glove at the end of it being held by the world's largest Leprechaun. It snapped his head back and stopped his attack cold, every single time.
      End of the day Beyonce Wilder got schooled, putting on a D+ performance, but instead of learning from it changed schools.

      Agree. I think people don't want to give AJ his flowers, he has acheived a lot and done it well in his short pro career and strangely everyone underestimated Fury. I think in an attempt to support Wilder or just bias? I am from the UK and honestly we thought Fury had a great chance of winning on boxing merit. Fury is
      a Gypsy lad born and bred from a fighting family. They start from when they are kids. It's like a vocation or way of life, therefore the training, sense of duty to it is next level.
      He has probably been in enough fights to think quick and use all of his skills to get himself out of trouble. He took few bombs from Wilder early on and it didn't affect him. Such a great fight.

      The black Unicorn I believe it's because most Americans (particularly casual fans) were so desperate for a World Heavyweight Champion, they were prepared to take the first guy that came along, no matter how flawed. Wilder's team built him up VERY carefully with soft fights, padding his record. This is normal practice in every country but up to a point in time. Trouble is, Wilder never got out of that phase of crushing cans. His last fight before taking on Stiverne for the WBC title was against a nobody. In fact, he didn't beat a single top 10 fighter to earn the title shot in the first place! As champion, he never faced a no.1 contender. All his title defences (bar Ortiz and Fury) were soft opponents. The casuals fell in love with Wilder's power but he was always going to be exposed by the next level opponents. Fury is just the beginning.

    Lol you guys must’ve watched very little AJ fights. He boxed Ruiz the way he had to to get his belts back easily, no point sitting still and slugging it out with a short guy whose only asset is fast, heavy hands. He showed he can actually boxe and adjust his style to the occasion if anything. But before that fight he steamed through the likes of Klitschko, Povetkin, Whyte and so on... 23 wins, 21 kos. Enough said.

      Tony Sundo no he wasn’t. He slugged it out and got caught, he eventually recovered to knock Klitschko out. You can make a point about Wladimir being past it and I’d agree with it, but he was still top 3 hw at the time.
      My point is, that’s not the kind of fight a cautious fighter (as these 2 knobs described AJ) would fight. He brought the fight to Klitschko, something nobody had done in almost 15 years.

      You're making the SAME mistake these alleged "experts" make.
      Yeah, Wilder knocked out everyone...but WHO did he knock out? If you check his record, 98% of his victories are against parking lot attendants who just so happen to box on the side.
      Fury is an ELITE boxer. And he showed there's levels to this. He exposed EVERY weakness in Wilder's arsenal. He can't fight off the back foot, doesn't know how to defend, can't weave punches, doesn't use his jab to set up the straight right, doesn't use his legs to avoid shots, etc. These are the BASIC fundamentals you learn!
      And after the first fight, where Wilder ADMITTED that was "the hardest he'd ever hit anyone" and Fury got up, I KNEW it would be an easy night.
      I bet a LOT of money that "Fury would win by ko or stoppage mid fight." People called me crazy. I look like a genius now.
