- Today Charles Wiles shows us the 2016 Nissan Quest, a special vehicle because this is the SV package with leather trim. It’s one of the least-expensive leather trim vehicles you can get, which is ideal for families with kids. Here are some other features ideal for families with kids. First up, the intelligence key. This key has the power to open and unlock the doors from a distance. If your keys are in your pocket, or in a purse, you can also unlock the doors with this button on the handle, when it senses you’re near. You have three rows of seats. You can get seven passengers seated in the Nissan Quest. Your center console is removable for extra storage, and your third row of seats folds down in case you need to carry something large.
This vehicle offers one-touch access to everything. It’s easy to flip down the third row of seats. One of the other things we want to show you is the 10-inch color DVD monitor operated only by remote control. So if you don’t want the kids messing with it, you don’t have to give them access to it.
Some of the other features you’ll get with the 2016 Nissan Quest are the dual zone temperature controls, back-up camera, an information center which will show you your fuel economy, steering wheel cruise control and radio controls, handsfree Bluetooth - and these are all standard with the SV package. There are even more options with the SL or the LE, but this is really nice middle-of-the-road option for a fair price point but also a lot of features.
Under the hood you’ll see one of the premier motors from Nissan. This is their 3.5 liter V-6. It’s the same motor you’ll see in the Murano, the Maxima, and V-6 Altima. It’s matted up against Nissan’s patented CVT transmission and that’s still going to get you 27 miles to the gallon which is wonderful for this size of a vehicle. How do I remove the engine speed lock Nissan Quest 2012
like it's interior and it's driving
i like the tv
Also the sienna has the biggest tv screen than other minivans
nice combover. we bought a van 2 years ago. Looked at the Quest. Nice interior, good engine, but terrible crash test ratings and no 8 passenger option. Ended up getting a Sedona in SX trim
Z Jones well don't crash.
My family has one right now
Im so sorry
@@ludlowstech8470 why
@@Sweetniques Check the crash test scores from the IIHS
@@ludlowstech8470 we never crashed it’s like it’s brand new
@@Sweetniques I know, its very unsafe though
the dvd screen is whats selling me
Great review, thanks! How does this compare with the Kia Minivan?
Nissan has a smoother engine which has won many many awards, a little better MPG, and a little nicer interior. In top trim level it could pass for an Infiniti. Kia has better value feature for feature, better warranty, and has some tech options in the upper trims the Nissan does not. The Kia also has a lot better crash ratings and has an 8 passenger option and the Nissan can only seat 7. Both will transport a family and their stuff but in a crash I'd rather be in the Kia.
Do rear windows open?
2nd-row yes, 3rd-row no. Also the 2nd-row windows only go about 3/4 of the way down, which is common in minivans but there are some that do go all the way down.
Esse carro é em invocado gostei

Yeah, EPA ratings are always very optimistic, but Nissan's vans and SUVs are by far the worst offenders. My 2011 gets only 17 highway, because it's the fully loaded LE model. Supposedly later model years got a TCM software update that improved it to 22/19, but I tested one and saw no improvement. Not terrible for a minivan, at least no worse than the T&C and Sienna that preceded my Quest, but probably the widest discrepancy between EPA and real world I've ever seen.
@@mrubuntuking5257 my 2011 is 19.5 highway and 17 city. Drive is very good and smooth though
I Will rent it in Chicago😉
Ya cvt transmission, no thanks buddy
