With all the water changes and food needed, I would think more people would use aquaponics to grow green beans, peas and other foods. It might be a pain indoors but with outdoor ponds / grow out tubs in the summer it could help offset costs. Love your work, it's just a suggestion but think it can also help with water conservation as a byproduct. Take care,

Man,if I had a monster tank? A school of large species Pleco's of one type would be a goal. Swimming under the Arowana.
Hey,why are there so many guys doing fish on youtube who look like Beatniks? Might as well have a beret.
Hey,Eric has a great set up and I like his breeder tanks look natural not sterile. Congrats!

At the 23 minute? I had that substrate about 30 years ago..its a very fine white sand and heavy...it doesn't float when fish sift into the near powdery silt. Did he tell you the name of it? I never knew..my father got it from his job. Pure white color under gro lights.

to the fishroom guy, you said when you in the field and you come back in that the fish eat each other and nip tails , I use the same plastic bags cut up the size of the same fish, like coins made of clear bags place in a bag of fish & water that are active and their movement keeps them dime size coins moving about to reduce the fighting . always work well with baby piranha.
