Just found this channel. So much fun! Love to see someone who has little experience doing the blinds with, such a fresh angle too even among wine TH-cam videos/channels. Got excited when I saw the Shiraz Viognier (given how unbelievable the Clonakilla is and Martin working there) as it's my all time favourite blend from that region. Keep it up guys!

No please don’t tell everybody about Hoddles Creek , discovered at a friend’s wedding 2009 , have been devoted since, theWickham Road is amazing for value in these tight times . Available in Vic rom good independent wine merchants 🎉🎉🎉
I enjoyed this episode. I actually haven't really seen one i didn't. I'll be honest, i was concerned with Gemma being on here (sorry Gemma)as i watched the podcast episode with her on the french regions where she said Slay a thousand times, was a difficult episode to get through, but she has redeemed herself here. It's enjoyable to watch people with less wine experience have a crack and give their thoughts.
Aw shucks! Thank you so much! Gemma is incredible in her honesty - which is wildly helpful when you're just starting out, and refreshing for all of us on the team!
No german reds at all in all 118 episodes of this blind tasting is just sad... you're so missing out ... especially on the pinots (Spätburgunder from Ahr or Baden) Germany is not just Riesling, damn it....we're the 3rd largest producer of pinot noir in the world...
@@BrenCarter_WFTP actually that would be nice. Though I wouldnt know how to narrow it down to Just 5 or 6. Maybe some sort of price point/fame stuff...
I like the balanced opinions of professionals + people like Gemma who are just regular wine drinkers. Keep it up
Love the vibe with Gemma. Please keep her in the rotation! Still love Henry but.
Gemma just tells it how it is. Love it.
Dude in blue sweater did crazy good. To call Rousanne is impresive.
Haha thanks mate!

And yes….i am a truffle hound fan. The first time i had it was in 2021. Bought some every year since. Cheers. Fun video!
Oh wow! Thank you so much for the support! That means the absolute world to us!
@@wineforthepeople good wine should be drunk and enjoyed, not set on a self and stared at. 😎

Couldn't agree more! We just don't get many in Australia unfortunately! Perhaps a dedicated Spatburgunder episode???
@@BrenCarter_WFTP dedicated episode would be great tbh. That way the differences of the different regions could be highlighted quite well.
We'll we're at ProWein this year! Perhaps we could assemble our own little specialist tasting for ya'll??
@@BrenCarter_WFTP actually that would be nice.

Love this! Let's do it!
I quite like this series, but prefer people who know what they’re talking about.
That's...kind of the unique brand of the channel. They have one winemaker/expert, one enthusiast and one newbie.
This comment has me stressing about my job security ngl
you're the comic relief, the no pretence. which is something much needed in the wine world @@henrydoyle3917
It's all part of the charm, a mix of knowledge and a sprinkle of randomness keeps it interesting!
