Thanks for the lesson! lol yesterday I made salted watermelon soap and it was soap on a stick in a matter of seconds. It was so crazy how fast I had to work to get it out the container LOL I'm relatively new to this and I love making soap. Its so therapeutic! and eucalyptus smells so amazing!!! That would have been such a cute bar. If you do decide to rebatch can you make a video on it?!
I know right! It happens to us all at some point. Hopefully it will help someone not do it :D. I could rebatch it and add in the oil but it would be one single colour and not have the smooth texture
@@SoapSchoolUK you could hot process rebatch it. tellervo has done it on TH-cam, and I've done it myself, it works quite well. Though in thus case, I'd weigh the extra oil you need, then mix a new batch up as well, then blend in the the messed up soap. It won't be the same color of course, but it would be usable soap.
Thank you so much for posting this. This is great information to know for new soapers
We all start at zero and never stop learning :)
Darn, it was such a beautiful design! Thanks for sharing! I would of been crying!
I was gutted Debbie but my own fault :)
That was a great experiment for us all to learn from!
Thank you for sharing! 💛
You are so welcome Leah

Glad it was helpful!
Been there, done that exact thing, I tried to re batch it, but that turned into another disaster 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪. I have been very careful since lol
Hi Maggie, it's always painful to lose such a lovely soap. Hope you have been having better luck more recently :)
@@SoapSchoolUK thankfully no disasters since then, touch wood 😁😁😁😁
Oh darn. What a beautiful looking soap. Can you melt that down and add the oil? Thanks for sharing.

I have done this myself when doing shampoo recipes
It's a pain when it happens for sure
