Thank you for sharing. No other video showed that it has to click in place. Took me forever to get it right. I have a 1994 Z28 Camaro that my 90 year old mother likes to ride in, so we take it out once in a while. She likes to go fast. Really appreciate it. God bless.

Good video. The warning is absolutely appropriate. My brother was permanently disfigured by hot coolant to the face. He was ugly before, but 2nd degree and a few third degree burns to the face made it worse, lol, but really it did age him quite drastically when he recovered. And he was being careful. Now, to do this on the wifes 97 z28

I appreciated it, sorry to hear about your brother but definitely good for people to hear it's better to be cautious. Have a good one!

Hopfully, these hoses don't seem to last very long. Best of luck and thanks for watching

Sometimes a dirty connector is the issue. I have fixed 80% of my car problems from cleaning dirty connectors or just changing them.

Will this cause your car not to crank hard to crank up and shut off?

Sorry for the delay, really this just triggers the alert your level is low but it doesn't communicate with anything that would cause a no crank situation. You might have a bad opti spark. I have a video on it, it's a fair amount of work so may check into some other stuff first like bad grounds, bad fuses but these things famously have bad optis out of the factory.

It’s a coolant sensor but the box says temperature sensor. Is it dual function?

So this should only monitor coolant level. The tempature sensor is actually located often on the front of the water pump driver side. Best read location for a tempature sensor is as close to the inlet to the engine as possible so they will most commonly be there or at the less ideal location on the side of the block. Hope this helps thanks for watching
