    You really are a good teacher my friend. I never have enough patience to sit through an entire TH-cam video. But for some reason I can sit through everyone of your videos and I learn so much by doing so as I’m kinda new to 1/5. Thanks so much my friend.

    I installed a velocity stack on my 36cc and it threw my tune off big time. I had a modified stock filter before but it was perfect running and sending rooster tails. I need to try to dial in the tune with the stack now, if I can't get great results I'm going back to the stock set up.

    Hey buddy. I just received my Rovan T5 sct off-road 4wheel drive truck. It’s the newer one, only comes in two colors, black and blue. Really it’s a MCD racing W5 clone. The truck is absolutely beautiful and I’ve only had it for three days. Haven’t even put gas in the tank yet. Just wanted to get your opinion on engine, break-in as it has the 36 cc door ring Roven, big bore. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

      Hey bro 😎, yeah for running the engine in or “break in” everyone has their own way of doing it, some people do “heat cycles” usually around 3 for 15 minutes. Now I have a different way that I prefer and that is the “Grip & Rip” method, fire it up get, a nice fat base tune, and run it 😉 you will notice the engine “running in” it will gradually hit higher RPM and produce more power the more you drive it. You will also notice the tune changing and that is because as the engine loosens the ring will seat delivering more air and fuel ⛽️

    Love the video and the Chanel found it off this video and watched more. I got a taylor 71cc supreme I just finished breaking in and I noticed on top end it kinda reminds me of a tire coming apart and exploding the foam. I haven't run it after that trying to look up tuning videos because it's my 1st 1/5 and I'm just nervous on tuning I guess. I have no issues with nitro tuning. But you saying about the blubber definitely explains how it is acting, it isn't cutting out so I'm assuming it's rich on the top end. Low end out the hole is perfect.

      @@Meyers2strokeRcgarage mine is pretty much new I did long break in 1st one on stand where it sounded great n had smoke coming from exhaust. During stand break-in coupler broke which they happily sent another but while I waited I grabbed some off Amazon n got next day. Put it on n seemed ok but n now there is ridiculous pressure in tank n I can't get no smoke no matter how rich I make it. They told me take off bubble thing on gas cap which I did but that just made a ridiculous mess all over the truck from gas spilling out. Then I felt bolts backed out muffler some cause it was loose n that's as far as I saw smoke. Tightened them up but I still see no smoke n the pressure in tank n bulb is unbelievable, like a quarter of tank is bubbles. Idk if when coupler broke it caused a gasket or something to break as well but definitely not the same. I ran a couple day's ago 5th tank break-in done ready to go but pressure n lack of smoke seem to be worse. I always reset needles to factory before running then go from there depending on weather. Ratio 20:1 from break-in to now as they suggested but something is definitely not right. Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated ty

      You have pressure or vacuum in the tank? It should not have either one. That’s why there is no smoke 💨 there is a restriction in your tank ventilation. What I did was make that tiny pinhole in the fuel tank cap and the little rubber piece inside and drove an O-ring pic through it to open it up. That took care of my issue. As the engine uses fuel, the tank needs to be properly vented so it does not go into a vacuum. I don’t know how you would even get pressure in there 🤔

      @@Meyers2strokeRcgarage yes sir that's what I'm saying I don't understand. On the stand for 1st tank break-in it was great factory settings n nice smoke. When that coupler broke n I put new one on it has never been the same. No smoke n pressure in tank just outrageous its all bubbles or just shoots it all over body lol. I actually drilled a slightly bigger hole in cap as directed but it has not relieved any of the pressure

    • @Meyers2strokeRcgarage
      @Meyers2strokeRcgarage  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      OK, you do not have a ventilation restriction. There’s something else going on. Take the carburetor off and try another spare one if you have one otherwise you will have to take the carburetor on it apart and see what’s going on with your pulse for your diaphragm. It almost sounds like you have something going on with your pulse in your diaphragm and it’s feeding back into your tank. 👍🏼
