Fantastic video! Very informative, the extensive experience you have on the big Island really shows! So refreshing when compared to the countless travel agent type channels and blogs that have only been once if ever.
Thank you for your feedback! Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is a truly beautiful place and I love exploring and re-exploring it over and over. It’s constantly changing too thanks to the active eruption at Kilauea.
What a wonderful video! We're planning our trip here. Would you recommend 2 days exploring here? Or do you have a recommended itinerary for a few days on the big island? I appreciate your videos! Looking forward to using my GoPro over there. 🙂
Thank you! If you want to do some of the hikes at HVNP then I would recommend 2 days there. Otherwise you can generally see everything in a full day there. If you enjoy hiking I recommend checking out some of these other incredible hikes on the Big Island as well: th-cam.com/video/IvEBOuj6Sqc/w-d-xo.html If you want to check out some great beaches I also discuss some of those here: th-cam.com/video/RLWjy0eP1lY/w-d-xo.html The Big Island has a lot of amazing stuff to see and do as well as some great coffee and food. Have a great time!
I recommend following the settings I outlined in this video. I show the settings for day to night or night to day. th-cam.com/video/lEJKJNeRZ4o/w-d-xo.html
There has been some active flows emerging at the summit of Kilauea on and off every day or two right now but unless you are there after dark to see the glow it is not easy to see in the daylight.
One of the most helpful Volcanoes National Park videos I’ve watched. Thank you!
I appreciate your feedback. Thank you!

Ehh, I am here for 3 days and I feel like I’ve done everything in the first two. No lava or eruptions right now 😕 (3/17/22)
