    I miss your slash 4x4 ultimate basher build. I was recently given an 6 year old slash 4x4 and have been slowly refreshing it as funds become available. I have been using your series on the slash 4x4 as inspiration for needed repairs and upgrades as i go. Thanks for the fun videos!

    Cool glad to see this car back out for a run i once considered a drag slash i also considered a 22S Losi Camaro but i feel i would be better off with other cars i can actually bash. And i feel the same way with deans i quit using them awhile back and now i only use IC5 but i might switch to XT90's since they're cheaper than IC5's and are more durable.

      Thanks man! That’s true…I don’t use this car as much as I’d like to…I definitely need to switch to some different connectors

      @@RCKnockout Yeah, i do suggest new connectors for that car if you can solder them yourself XT90's can handle some current as long as you're staying within 90 - 120 amps. I plan to swap some of my cars to XT90's since they're cheaper and more durable than IC5's only downside is most of Horizon's new cars come with IC\EC style connectors.

    Lock the diff with silicone ear plugs. I have done it on my 2wd slash and so far it worked perfectly.

      It works better than a locker spool? I’m assuming there is a bit of give?

      I think it have less tendensy to swap ends on you but i might be wrong.

    My dad and I got some team associated dr10s for a local rtr list but we had no chance against the drag slashes and 300$ drag batteries

      @@slashraptor9317 oh ya we changed gears a lot and locked the diffs and run no slipper clutch but the dr10 seems to lag off the start then all the power kicks in and either wheelie or spin out … hard to control even just on a 2s race battery

      @@Super1handed_rc are you able to use any rtr parts from different brands like using the drag slash tires plus i would also look around to see what kind of tires people are using for that list

    Take the foams out of the rear tires

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Softer foams might be the better move….I feel like this is still a heavy enough car that needs foam in the tires

    • @DustinRea
      @DustinRea 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@RCKnockout well, a run is a run. Once the tires are spinning the foams become moot anyway, in real racing, the tires are empty and low pressure so the rubber can stick and the rim gets ahead on the tire with some major twist. I'd give it a try if I had a drag car. What will it hurt to try? It's not hooking up as it is
