I too liked the use of clothespins instead of gloves….. you can tell this group has their act together. I took lots of screenshots for inspiration. Thanks for taking us along Becky!
Wonderful quilt show. Absolutely gorgeous quilts. My compliments to everyone that entered something because I know how many hours it takes to put into a quilt or a wall hanging or a table runner. Great job.
Becky, Thank you for sharing! I really loved the video from Friendship Quilt Guild show in Brenham. Lots of great ideas!...Thank you again. Love all that you do! Thank you.
Hello! I hope you had a cheery day! I struggled with a foot stool under my needle today. Now I get to sit, unpick a bunch of sewing and watch you! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead! Thank you for sharing your time and expertise.
Wow all those quilts so beautiful. The charity ones beautiful with plaid fabric for hospice, I’m hoping to go to a local NewEngland quilt Expo in NH this weekend, while I’m at my retreat in Maine !! So hope to see beautiful quilts as well.
Wow, what a marvelous way to tour a quilt show, especially for old birds like me. Becky, it is so wonderful of you to take us on your road trips, and the way you handle the camera makes it even more fun. Some move the camera so fast it can make you dizzy. Thank, you for all you do. Loved my time with you today. Have a great week, Green Bananas.
Oh what fun! I LOVED that Texas Quilt. Well they were all beautiful and I am in awe at the talent ( not to mention patience) of the people who work on these quilts. Enjoyed seeing all the happy faces of the friends you met along the way. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
I KNOW! I loved that little touch! I didn't even notice it the first time and then when I was editing the video I saw it - a plug on the wall... FABULOUS! lol
Great show. Beautiful quilts and talented quilters. Hard to believe none of the Kafe quilts did not place. I never seen clothes pins to turn the quilts. Nifty idea. Thanks Becky for taking us to the quilt show!
Becky, I enjoyed the tour of the show so much last year. I was happy to see you do it again but you filmed so quickly this year that I couldn’t read any of the information about the quilts and quilters.
That's my favorite too! It was done by the very nice lady at the beginning of the video, Mary Ann. Those feathers in the white portions of the log cabins were stunning. She had some issues with her binding (so she said; I didn't see any) so that's why she thinks the blue ribbon was elusive. Yes, I love that quilt!
Gorgeous quilts! Some very talented quilters out there. A difference I noticed was if the quilt was long arm machine quilted, it got a blue or red ribbon, and those that were sewing machine quilted got a yellow ribbon. I think they ALL deserved at least a red ribbon! Just my opinion. 😘
I'm a member of this guild myself now (I joined the other day) and it's 2.5 hours from me too. :) I won't make the meetings but maybe one day I'll put in a quilt for the show.
Thank you Becky for sharing the quilt show with us. Wonderful and diverse bunch of quilts.

Inspired.
Well filmed. You captured the quilts and gave them respect. Thank you. Love all the Texas quilts.
I liked how the guild used clothes pins to turn the quilts. No plastic glove needed.

I loved all the ribbons we just had our guild show and have only three ribbons; best in show, viewers choice, and honorable mention.
I love this video. It’s like going to a quilt show without leaving home. Beautiful quilts

So. Many. Fabulous. QuiltS!! But my favorite would have to be the “Texas Bluebonnet Log Cabin Sampler” or whatever it was called. 🥰🥰

It's very amazing, how can I join, to this show,
It was a nice show! Can't believe we missed each other 😂
The mayor looks like a sweet man. Beautiful quilts!
Awesome show! I must be the only quilter in the world though who doesn't know why there are clothespins on the quilts??
Turn to look at backside.
Clothespins allow you to pull the back of the quilt up to see the back without leaving greasy or sticky fingers on the fabric. Smart huh? :-)
@@PowerToolsWithThread thank you! Makes sense!
👍🏼👏🥰🥂💐💪🏼
How could anyone sleep under a Halloween horror quilt?
Isn't that crazy????
2 1/2 hrs from me. Need to join one near me.
I'm a member of this guild myself now (I joined the other day) and it's 2.5 hours from me too. :) I won't make the meetings but maybe one day I'll put in a quilt for the show.
Too shaky and too fast. Made me dizzy.
