It’s a comfort because I’ve been feeling a little depressed over all this. It doesn’t even seem like real life. I cannot wait for this to be a thing of the past!
i feel the same way! i’m less nervous about contracting the virus than i am about all the shutdowns and lockdown happening. it’s making my chronic anxiety worse than it already is. i’m just trying to remind myself we’re all in the same boat right now and it will be okay eventually 💗

But I won't take things for granted again and I will keep many good habits I have in place now moving forward that reduce waste both of food as well as redundant products of all kinds, etc. I have to admit that if there is one merit to this crisis is giving perspective.

Weirdly enough, before the lockdowns and my University locking down and sending students home, I had an intense foreboding. It was so strong that I started texting all my loved ones and telling them to be ready for what’s to come. We will all get through this, but we need to hang tight through the storm.
Well done to that cashier/manager to standing up to the madness. Some people are so selfish (it's the same here in Ireland). Frankly I am more stressed about this kind of behavior rather than the actual virus.
I forgot to mention what the guy said to the cashier about Walmart! He said, "Well, they don't have any limits on stuff at the Walmart!" Cashier: "Then go to Walmart and get your dog food!" Man: "I can't! They're sold out!" Cashier: "EXACTLY!"
As somebody who works at walmart right now in conover nc, I'll say its way better than a lot of other walmarts around. But telling people they can only get one water or one paper towel bundle is really wearing me down. They always give me an earful. I wish they could understand other people need what they're taking. Thank you for doing what you do to limit hoarding! I'm in NH, but it's the same up here. I came upon a large bottle of Germ-X on an end cap when I went shopping Thursday & felt like it was Christmas! I shared it w my friend, who brings me shopping or shops for me. ( I recently had a tumor removed from my spine, so when I can't get around, he's a great friend & shops for me.) I was talking to the cashier & she told me about the limits they have to impose. I don't envy you for what you have to do and I appreciate your service! Thank you & stay healthy!💚

A lot of these people are worried about being put on lockdown "like in Italy" but in Italy ONE person from the household can go out and get the groceries. Everyone is just losing their heads and being inconsiderate. I'm a college student who lives alone in a Studio apartment so I don't need much, and even I can't find enough to feed me. smh
It’s sad that it takes a piece of paper saying you can’t have all of one certain thing at a store for people to not buy out an entire store. Like people, you aren’t the only person that needs that one thing.

Hi! I live n California and yes we r on lock down. It seems all the celebrities r on Twitter, U tube or Instagram making donations, trying to make people laugh or trying to get people to just stay home. So the virus won’t spread. I also have seen a lot more people walking around the neighborhood. Now the whole families r walking together ( kids, dogs and both parents.) Everybody is waving to each other. To bad it takes a virus to get people to b nice to each other. Stay safe!
Kerry Schotten also the unfortunate part of an entire families going out together is putting others at risk. That’s why it’s important to only have one person go to the store and home. Walks if anything should be done solo. Not groups. Unfortunately that’s why Italy now has the military brought in because people just simply cannot stay in their homes. Another ASMR artist who lives in Italy, said the police will stop you if you even try to walk your dog. The reason why is because one person in your “group” can be sick walking around it lives for 3+ hours in the air. Unless you’ve been in your house for 3-4 weeks and haven’t left the house at all for a single thing and not seen anyone else you could also have it. I haven’t seen my family in a few weeks we are doing Skype calls/dates/dinners. Since it takes about 3 weeks sometimes for the virus to show up you put everyone at risk by not just staying home. It’s hard it’s not easy it fucking sucks but the longer people keep doing things the longer this whole thing lasts
No need to be angry at cashiers we are all in this together share the wealth.....i get in get what I need and get out..IAM kind and curtious to others and keep the shopping cart distance ...it's not hard to follow the rules...unfortunately in order to be a civilized society everyone needs to be understanding and not selfish🙄

My area isn't mandatory quarantined (a small rural place in Missouri), but I'm only going out for the Dr., food, meds, the essentials. The 18 yr old cashier at our local Ingles said she gets cussed because they’ve limited bread to 1 loaf per person. Poor girl just doing her job and has to deal with morons.
i work at trader joe’s and we recently put limits on certain food items. each customer can only get 1 case of water, 1 carton of eggs, 2 gallons of milk, only 4 fresh meat products, etc. some people are upset about it but we have to do this so everyone is able to get some of what they need. when all this panic first started people would hoard like 5 cases of water and 8 cartons of eggs and most of our stock was running out by 11am. it’s incredibly frustrating. there is no food shortage, but because so many people chose to panic buy and hoard, our warehouses began to run out of product. long story short, it’s rough being a retail worker right now, but thankfully most people are understanding and very appreciative that we’re still open. i hope you and everyone else are staying safe and healthy during this weird, scary time! ❤️✨

I saw so many people out roller blading, biking and running yesterday. It made me happy. We rode bikes to the convention center and did a workout at the convention center. We brought bands, jump ropes and ran up the stairs.

Hi Mary, I'm in California but nowhere near Hollywood. But it is a weird feeling out here, I've been in my house for almost two weeks now and only been out once or twice for supplies. There is an uneasy uncomfortable feeling when I had to go out, going to Walmart or Costco used to be fun but it's not anymore. I hate this and cannot wait for it all to go back to normal.Stay healthy and safe, thanks for the videos they really help me from going crazy.
I've been staying home and away from social situations since this started. I have been going for little walks each day though, around nighttime maybe 7ish, just to keep myself sane! I went to the supermarkets today to get some shopping, for the first time since last week. The health and safety procedures have been really maximised since then, and it gave me a lot of anxiety.. The queues were all the way down the street.. A lot of fridges were empty, and some people were awfully rowdy! To be honest if people stayed calm (I know it's difficult) and shopped as normal (stopped stockpiling!!) things would be much calmer 🙄 I hope this ends soon, I really miss social interactions yenno.. This is our 3rd week of this and we've next week left.. Nearly there from Ireland 🍀

We just got a "stay home" order for my county in Missouri starting Monday. Only grocery, hardware, gas, pharmacies, and laundromats can be open. You also aren't supposed to visit anyone, but good luck with that.

My husband and I have a combined family of 9 kids and both of us adults ... we have found the restrictions so hard in aus.... the limit is per household... and it's a struggle. ....we go through at least 8 loaves of bread a week..... I did 7 stores in 2 days just for our week shop ... So if you see someone buying a lot.... maybe it's for a lot of people.
I seriously doubt that we have that many large families in my area. No, in my area, I guarantee you that 99% of the shortages are due to panicky, greedy, hoarding jerks.

Hi Mary, I'm in California but nowhere near Hollywood. But it is a weird feeling out here, I've been in my house for almost two weeks now and only been out once or twice for supplies. There is an uneasy uncomfortable feeling when I had to go out, going to Walmart or Costco used to be fun but it's not anymore. I hate this and cannot wait for it all to go back to normal.Stay healthy and safe, thanks for the videos they really help me from going crazy.

I've been staying home and away from social situations since this started. I have been going for little walks each day though, around nighttime maybe 7ish, just to keep myself sane! I went to the supermarkets today to get some shopping, for the first time since last week. The health and safety procedures have been really maximised since then, and it gave me a lot of anxiety.. The queues were all the way down the street.. A lot of fridges were empty, and some people were awfully rowdy! To be honest if people stayed calm (I know it's difficult) and shopped as normal (stopped stockpiling!!) things would be much calmer 🙄 I hope this ends soon, I really miss social interactions yenno.. This is our 3rd week of this and we've next week left.. Nearly there from Ireland 🍀

I am glad that they put limits on products it stops the hoarders one thing I et upset about is when I see these hoarders reselling items on facebook or ebay at ridiculously high prices. there are so many others that have to do without essentials .

We just got a "stay home" order for my county in Missouri starting Monday. Only grocery, hardware, gas, pharmacies, and laundromats can be open. You also aren't supposed to visit anyone, but good luck with that.
You're so funny! Itchy & scratchy. They looked like chickens in their little robes & fluffy feather pumps! I can absolutely picture it. No wonder "Joe" was beating on his lawn mower. He couldn't exactly throw Itchy & Scratchy out in the road. You know "Tommy" wouldn't touch them! Even w "Judge Judy" presiding. Hell, she'd have stayed in her house! You're terrific! I talk to myself all the time too! Have regular old conversations w myself. I don't even worry about it. My husband and I have a combined family of 9 kids and both of us adults
... we have found the restrictions so hard in aus.... the limit is per household... and it's a struggle. ....we go through at least 8 loaves of bread a week..... I did 7 stores in 2 days just for our week shop ...
So if you see someone buying a lot.... maybe it's for a lot of people.
I seriously doubt that we have that many large families in my area. No, in my area, I guarantee you that 99% of the shortages are due to panicky, greedy, hoarding jerks.

The Safeway here in my town, Oregon girl here, it's only five items per person with certain things. I don't know why people went insane. Yeah, we have a pandemic, doesn't mean that people should hoard stuff. Just get enough for you, leave the rest.

I'm glad they started putting limits on Items. I Wish they would have started that from the beginning. It pisses me off hearing people selfishly hoarding essentials. These same people doing all the hoarding would be pissed if the tables were turned. If we didn't have order there would be chaos, and that's the last thing we need. These selfish people need to have some consideration for others.

Kudos to the manager that told buddy no. Selfish jerk!! I had heard about only taking acetaminophen as well, but later heard a report that it's not true and you can take ibuprofen as well.
