  • Bruce Springsteen has been a major part of the American music scene since the 1970s and he shows no sign of slowing down. The Boss is always eager to try new things on each album, from the huge-sounding rock and roll of the Born to Run album to the stripped-down folk songs of Nebraska.
Springsteen remains one of the most successful touring acts in any genre. His songs are extremely personal, but there still might be a lot you don’t know about the man behind them, so let’s take a look at the untold truth of Bruce Springsteen.

@@tbonewashington8892 Oh, man. That one is hands down one of the best concert songs ever. “Screen door slams, Mary’s dress waves”--And we’re Off. Fantastic. One of the ultimate concert experiences. Funny we were literally just singing that to our 5 year old granddaughter this weekend. So, you must be right!😉. I edited because I just remembered that!

I always think of my dad and the times we used to haul restaurant equipment in his big rig while listening to Born in the USA. I don’t care about Bruces personal life I love his music and the memories it brings me.

Correction: Between his 1975 album "Born to Run" and his 1978 album "Darkness On the Edge of Town" his former manager (who owned all his songs) had a Court Order preventing him from recording any music. In order to pay the bills and keep his band together he continued playing live.

This was an informative narrative about Mr Springsteen. He still has a large supportive fan base nearly 40 years after rock'n the world with his talents. That says a lot about his inner expression.
I'm delighted that he was recognized and gifted so many awards... as those business battles and personal battles can manifest as thorns and weeds deep within. But, a public show of affection and support; by the people that he's making those sacrifices for, is rejuvenating. They're spiritual blessings!
Thanks for sharing your talents online, Mr Springsteen. Blessings upon you and yours!

Hi Linda, just a quick question: How are you able to completely seperate Bruce's political leanings and his music. As far as I am concerened, his songwriting has always been deeply intertwined with his politicial championing of people failed by society. That's what he is still doing. Fighting for the underprivileged. You might just be salty because the underprivileged he's fighting for aren't as white as yourself!

    • @Vartholomeos.

      Well let's see.
      Bruce is, WHITE,
      married to a white woman,
      both times,
      Absolutely super rich and privileged,
Has a super rich privileged circle of friends,
Never ever worked a normal job in his life, not even a day,
Hated school, regulations, rules and pretty much an anarchist, in a way,
Travels the world and stays in the best hotels,
Goes to bars and pretends to mingle with the low lifes, while ever watchful undercover security is always close by,
Thinks he knows what the normal working class person feels cause his daddy was a factory worker,
And much more........BUT still pretends that he's one of the battlers..........HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA.
But in saying that I LOVE the artist!!!
Have ALL his albums, seen him live 4 times, love the new album, one of his best, and will pay to see him again and again.
But as a person, probably wouldn't have absolutely NOTHING in common with him at all, apart from..........love your work BOSS!!
You can like the artist, and not the man.
      Remember his initials are.......BS!!

When I was younger, I "looked" older and got into all the bars. I went into The Hudson House in Beach Haven, NJ and there sat a very young Springsteen with Joe Piscopo at a small table in the corner. He wasn't hugely famous yet BUT he DID have the attitude. He was "too good" to talk to us locals. Turned me off to him instantly!!

    • @Ellellemm22
      @Ellellemm22 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

Your story is off. Way off. To this day, he still goes to those local bars, talks to the locals, and does benefits to help the dying economies of those local seaside bars. More likely is that he didn’t want to talk to an underaged girl who snuck into a bar.

A key moment in Bruce Springsteen's life is when he ran into a young lyricist in California by the name of Eric Heine. Bruce should pay me for the lyrics I provided him they made him successful. I've spent my lifetime searching for an honest man. So far Bruce doesn't qualify.
