Hi Bob & Jenny we have been to that site long time ago love it big time nice video as all ways take care have good time out there see you next time. Bye the way Monty been for is op last Friday all gone well he running round the garden .
We used to go to Aldridge Hill for our holidays, its lovely there, take a walk into the village see the ponies & donkeys & highland cattle, lovely pubs there too, have a lovely time xx
Bought my first electric bike at Brokenhurst , it’s a lovely place we’ve stopped on other Caravan and Motorhome site in the new forest , it’s fab to see the horses roaming free , we’re going to Dorchester today enjoy yr time there xx
Loved taking a walk through the Mile Zero Campground, Dawson Creek, BC forty years ago...tons of Airstream RVs heading up the Alaska Highway. Such friendly folk from all over; some from as far away as Florida, even. As a local we always welcomed the RV Travellers, who were the highlight of our little town, lots of excitement! 😊
Looks a lovely site. I think most of the South West is busy! My God Daughter lives in Cornwall and she said it is "Crammed" ! Have a lovely time and stay safe! X I love your videos of the travelling! This is all part of the holiday for us! We are off to Wales next week to two different B&B s, one is a pub! We keep toying with the idea of getting a Motorhome but due to Covid the prices for a second hand one have shot up! Love watching your travels! Thank you X
Heard Jenny mention Christchurch in this video, we live in Christchurch in New Zealand. You are so lucky in the UK with all the history and lots of interesting places to visit, also the gorgeous old buildings and lovely villages, beaches and countryside.
The wife and I always say "wait for it", as you pull into a new campsite, we listen for the shake and then whining from Poppy, It amazes us how she knows you've arrived, its not like she's looking out of the window. we're guessing she feels the speed humps as you drive in.
Thanks Bob. I found your video guide on the route to Black Knowl from Lyndhurst extremely useful today because it is a bit of a maze. I have a motorhome but it must be a nightmare with a car and caravan if you make a wrong turning. I watched the video from Brokenhurst to the site twice and therefore I had a visual image of the landmarks which is very helpful for someone who does not have the help of a navigator. Thanks again.
Since covid the prices of sites and availability have changed. Have tried many sites but all that's left is a grass pitch if your lucky have tried many sites through the camping and caravan club without luck so I will not be renewing my membership with them. Will now go onto Web sites and look for adult only sites. I think to Many people have taken up motorhome and caravaning. Keep up the good work.
Sites are a lot busier, but there are still spaces available. We're lucky as we are able to book in advance. We don't like the Camping and Caravanning Club website because it's impossible to know wether pitches are free before choosing the site and going through the booking process. With the Caravan and Motorhome Club website you can see if sites have availability before starting the booking!
Looks a nice site! You could have saved a lot of miles going across the Sandbanks Ferry to Poole, on the minus side as your Motorhome is bigger than ours it would cost more then Technically you have a Trailer too. We pay same as a car! :-) I know most of the roads you used well.
Love Black Knoll. Enjoy xx
Lovely site and weather! X
Looks another lovely site. I will add that to the list. Lovely video thankyou both and Poppy cheers

Yes, at least we have plenty of things to see and do in the UK.
The wife and I always say "wait for it", as you pull into a new campsite, we listen for the shake and then whining from Poppy, It amazes us how she knows you've arrived, its not like she's looking out of the window. we're guessing she feels the speed humps as you drive in.

Do you collect the site disk to remind you of the sites you have been on. I do and stick them up with blue tack
We have our video for the memories.
