      Your money so your right to do it. However, if your expectations are too high or don't account for how the world is changing then it's kind of an unfair move.
      I have a hard time listening to the older folks who bought houses at 90k and salaries were 55k. Gas was $1/gal and a new truck was 15k. The world is different and we can all see the incomes are not enough to keep up.

      Two things:
      1: My son will easily be able to accomplish this because even though he’s only 12 he has the determination of three adults. It’s only a net worth of $300,000 which is easy attained.
      2: I made my money with a blue collar construction job. Do you know who works in ALL of the construction jobs in my state? 95% of them are illegal immigrants. This is because my generation doesn’t want to get their hands dirty or do manual labor if this wasn’t the case how come I’m the o Lu white guy on every single job site?
      You can make easily $200,000 a year doing construction if you are determined and if you have educated yourself on finance.
      The reason why as you mentioned our money doesn’t buy what it use to is because people keep demanding shit for free even though our country is in massive debt. So they just print the money and devalue it. So they complain for free shit then complain that their money is devalued.

    I don't blame Shaq at all. They (his kids) were born into one of the most advantageous life styles possible. If they can not make their own money they do not deserve the money because that would mean that they already wasted their greatest advantage so of course they would waste all of the money that Shaq worked so hard for.

    • @michael43567
      @michael43567 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not necessarily. Being born rich doesn't mean you should be able to become rich on your own.
      What if they're disciplined, hardworking, but have an average paying job?
      Do they not deserve an inheritance from Shaq because they didn't become multimillionaires?
      And isn't the goal generational wealth? How you gonna work hard then leave your kids with no money or assets? Why not put them in an advantageous position? Why automatically assume they'll mess it up?

    • @amitpalbains9361
      @amitpalbains9361 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@michael43567 if you’re disciplined and Hard working, you’re not going to have an average paying job. Especially with the resources they have.
      Generational wealth sounds great but typically leads to a lot of problem. If you give a kid everything from a young age, what does he have left to work for when he gets in his twenties? Where is the excitement of life going to come from? He’s probably already traveled the world, bought expensive cars, went on yachts. Life will become boring. So the kid will lead to drugs for a high, or parting getting drunk and then race. They need to do something to get the excitement back. They can’t get excited building something because they’ve never had to there entire life.

    • @michael43567
      @michael43567 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@amitpalbains9361 you sound naive. Working hard doesn't equate to earning a lot. A lot of gruelling jobs pay average. Him/her being hardworking doesn't mean they're gonna have an above average paying job.
      I never said give a kid everything, you're strawmanning me.
      And why are you making assumptions about the kid having expensive cars?
      Then you go on to generalize saying the kid will end up doing drugs.
      You're programmed to think a kid with rich parents turns out to be a screw up.

    I get Shaw wanting to make his kids have work ethic and respect for money and all… but don’t u wanna give your kids everything u never had? Obviously within reason, but to make there life enjoyable and easy, help them find there passion!!
    It’s like they say “show me a man who’s work is there passion and I’ll show u a man who didn’t work a day in there life” it’s righteous of Shaw u was just a basketball player doing what he loved to become so rich!! And expect his kids who might not have that sorta talent or smarts to not enjoy life and his fathers wealth and do it harder!!

    If you throw up where you get everything handed to you you don't know what real life is. So when they get 18 have to get a real job don't understand the value of money like Joe Rogan said if you don't know the value of something you're just going to assume Like a Diamond by it it's a thousand bucks that's not that much in reality it is a lot of money for a lot of people don't realize that but you have to go through the struggles to actually figure out what life is all about at least I think so

    Legit question:
    How do people feel about parents that have built up wealth of a couple million dollars later in life,
    one kid has struggled his whole life other kid is worth as much as the parents…
    How do you’s feel about the parents decision by passing there own kids and giving the lot to the grand kids??
    One kid that has money had money given buying first house at 19 car bought for him everything he needed as well as halves in real estate and a vineyard…
    Other son had none of that and was also (in parents own words) treated badly growing up with physical and physiological abuse and while Parker’s building wealth didn’t have money to help second son…. 10 yrs age difference between both!!
    Legit would love to know people’s thought!!

    People will say I won't give my kids the money they gotta work for theirs but I'll rather give it to strangers and different organizations. For some reason that sounds oxymoronic to me but I find logic on the internet to be lacking so ima head out lol.

      @@kingray3139 ....If you say so, you all are assuming wealthy kids are lazy and stupid with money. Not true Maybe it's culture I know plenty of non Americans that have a completely diff view. It is my duty to create wealth for the generations ahead of me not even born or thought of yet. They may lose it. Also our hard working' kids may never reach it. We all know plenty of no wealthy kids that never amounting to anything. I'm 39 for all the hard work I did in my 20 it never amounted to anything. If you going to work hard do it for yourself and your own goals. Time is something you can't get back. Now I'm a web developer. Never going back to that old mindset EVER. Best thing to do is to teach your kids to own things and not "work hard" at your local grocery store. it's wasted time. Getting paid and making money direct from your skill is a far far different feeling than collecting a $600 check at Walmart or Target. Start your kid young wanting to learn, loving to learn them help them start something of their own.

      @@michael43567 depends on how they're raised. If the kids are raised in today's consumer world based/ social media etc, no way will they be able to resist spending most of their money . It takes a strong & wise person to keep from splurging on themselves or their friends.
      It's important that one must learn the value of money before acquiring a lot of money. Thats why a lot of lottery winners go bankrupt. Another factor is poor money mismanagement . There's many factors actually but CBA to go over them here.

    Majority of parents are narcissistic, they make kids for their own pleasure.. some people just enjoy watching their children suffer rather than helping them. Inheritance is also bs, you don't need to wait 4 or 5 decades to get a little bit of help in life
