The idea is learning how to think out of the box... ANYONE can order parts or sell new equipment. Can you diagnose the correct part, will you warranty your repair, is there any way to safely and without damage to the equipment , help your customer while you do all that.. Should you even worry about that? How many customers do you want as return customers and how long do you WANT to be in business?
Don't do this every time... but it was 90 in that office today. Don't do this for just any body!!! Absolutely nothing wrong to leave it off, order and return with a part. Just know and understand how to, because , SOMETIMES it IS really important.

Thx Steve.. I figure most people know this stuff.. I make alot of this for my son. He works in supermarket Refrigeration and misses alot of this stuff..
