Nice tutorial, except for the very important part thats missing on what to disconnect on that middle part where everything is connected to and also that disconnecting the battery with a piece of plastic before doing anything so you dont short the backlight and other important components. I needed to look at another to finish replacing the battery.
Hello @FrankyBee_FPV. I disconnected the battery first as you can see in the video 3:23. That is the most important part in iPad repairs. If you don't you will blow filters out.
@@mklvrepairs WoW that's pretty low, like the lowest setting my adjustable heat gun will go! LoL! Maybe I should try just leaving it in my car in the hot sun for 15 minutes? LoL!
@@mklvrepairs FYI, I was successfully able to remove the screen without screen cracks nor any screen black spots by putting thick and wide scotch tape around the edges of the display only and using about 190°c heat. Yes I know, but figured that with the tape protecting the display from direct heat, I should be good and I was! Thanks!
Hi, could you tell if I have a charging port problem or a battery problem. The battery symbol shows up, not blinking, but it does not change. I am thinking it it a battery issue. Would you agree ? thank you for any help you could provide !
yes, I am pretty sure now after watching a few videos. going to order a battery and give it a shot. thank you for responding so quickly , much appreciated. will let you know-how I make out. Fingers crossed.. seems getting the screen off in one pieice is the toughest part. here ego, lol .again, thank you ! @@mklvrepairs
I got my Ipad battery fixed but the screen isn’t as clear as before. There are some spots on the screen of some uneven looking textures. How do I fix this?
Hello. Unfortunately I skip it and I don't have an excuse for that. That one one early days when I started filming videos and didn't know what's I'm doing. However, slide plastic cards under the motherboard and cut adhesive around and the motherboard will come free.
And end of day before you doing any repair battery must be disconnected. When you want to change light switch at home you disconnect power? Yes you do. With electronic devices need to do some. You can blame me or video but you didn’t disconnect battery and that is only your fault. Good luck next time 🙌
I gotta do this to mine. Still running good and no need to get rid of it
That’s good for environment too.
why did you play this background music!!
Hello. Unfortunately at that time I didn't speak English. New videos will come with me speaking.

I have an adjustable heat gun that allows me to set a precise temperature. What temperature would you recommend I set it to? Thanks!
No higher then 100c

I followed the instructions and shorted the backlight, now screen is not working anymore. I wouldn't recommend this video.
